Huge huge selection, especially the kids stuff. Very few stores have that if any. Lots of furniture made in this country. Sales team is friendly and kinda helpful. Hard to find sometimes. The sales process was shady as hell. An lamp included in our set was out of stock. The salesman (Billy) told us we could grab any lamp to substitute the out of stock lamp. At no extra cost. Both my daughter and wife heard him say this as well. Upon receipt we realized we were charged 60 extra dollars for the lamp we chose. I returned immediately to the store. The guy in the office stated they don't substitute lamps. The salesperson retracted what he said, stating he never claimed there was no extra cost (even though that's exactly what he did). The gentleman in the office was confrontational and rude, treating me like I was the liar. They finally refunded me in the shadiest way possible. Instead of simply refunding me, they charged 4 separate transactions to my card, hoping I wouldn't notice a 10 dollar discrepancy. Meanwhile, I was given the floor model lamp from the original purchase, supposedly at a discount. I had to return again when I found out the lamp was broken (and they knew very well it was broken and tried to pass it off as a mistake). Then the lamp that was out of stock magically had two or three more unbroken models on the floor. A very odd experience.
The delivery team could not have been friendlier or more professional. But I doubt we'll return to purchase anything else from this store. Anyone else who has shopped here - check your receipt, which is printed in a very convoluted manner anyway. I doubt this was a one off thing here.

Read moreI had a delivery scheduled for today. I made the purchase over a week ago and paid extra for them to deliver the sectional inside my home. Today, the delivery team comes to my home, looks at the door and says I don’t think it’s going to fit. He then proceeds to open the truck and the sectional is already built in a bag. He and the other team member attempt to carry it and you can noticeably notice they are struggling and get it into my porch. For about 5-6 minutes they are by the doorway with the couch then say, nope, it’s not going in. He tells me he can’t deliver and says that I will need to select something else and they start to pack up. I contacted the sales customer service phone line and I request a refund, they could not initiate a refund until the sectional made it back to the warehouse and since it’s Friday this could take up until Wednesday of next week. We hang up and a customer service representative calls to ask how my delivery went, I inform her no delivery was made and inform her of the situation. She says they do not issue refunds but that she will check, she places me in hold and then says I will be issued a refund. I hang up and since I had forgotten to ask if I would also be receiving a refund for the delivery I call back. When I am connected to a sales representative he starts reviewing the notes on my order with me, he informed me it stated that I “refused” the delivery. He read the notes and said he was going to have to note down what I had just told him because no where on the notes did it state everything that O was saying occurred. Read moreConcord, NC store. My mom purchased a beige, over $700 Dennin Sleeper chair for me, and it is awful. Only one side was protected with cardboard, and it was clearly stood up on the side with no protection. The entire left side of the chair is filthy with dirt. It is stained. The feet of the chair are PLASTIC risers. Thin and hollow! The risers I used to lift a bed were thicker! No where in the description does it say it has hollow plastic risers for feet! The right arm of the chair has the seam about 1.25 inches from top, so there is no padding where your hand rests, and it shoved the stuffing downwards making it bow out in front. You only have four days to return, and when my mom called regarding the chair AND a mirror or she bought on the same day that was broken upon unwrapping, Dakota told her they could send a technician later in July! Is the technician going to resow the upholstery? Shampoo the chair? There was a man behind the girl telling her to say they don’t do returns. Then she was told to wait for a mangers call. So far no call, and today is the last day to return, per the person she spoke to 3 days ago. She called right after it was delivered to tell them about the state of the chair, and here we are with a broken mirror we were NOT told by the salesman Nestor was an “as is” purchase. There was no sign that stated such either. Buyer beware if you shop at the Concord, NC store! They will not offer to replace a faulty item or allow you to return it even with a purchased warranty!
