I'm not someone who writes bad reviews ever. That said, today I had a really awful experience at this At Home store - it's not the first bad experience but it's certainly my last since I will never shop there again. I went in to do a return, had the receipt but didn't have the actual credit card used for the purchase. The cashier said bc of that, I would only get a store credit for the sale price (half the amount that was paid). I said I didn't understand why, since the receipt clearly showed we paid the full amount. Cashier called the manager, Thomas, over and he said the bc I didn't have the credit card itself, they would give me sale price. So I pulled up my receipt on my phone and was saying how the email clearly showed we paid the full price. The manager grabbed MY PERSONAL cell phone and started scrolling thru my email - he didn't ask if he could see it, nothing. MOST IMPORTANTLY, neither he nor the cashier or other store employees were wearing masks. At all. And he's grabbing all over my phone. I got angry of course bc this is not only rude, but a SERIOUS HEALTH RISK TO ME. I've been very careful during the quarantine and I was wearing a mask. I just got negative results from my COVID test last week so I now I was healthy up to now. However, I'll know exactly where to go if God Forbid I get sick. This store's customer service has always been AWFUL and I don't recommend anyone shop here. Now, they're not following Health Guidelines and grabbing customer phones without permission. I GIVE IT ZERO STARS but had to do 1 star in order...
Read moreI will not be returning to this store. My sister was visiting from Philly over Xmas. We visited the store and noticed an employee was not wearing a mask. She very discreetly told a cashier while we were checking out, stating that she absolutely loved the store, that the authorities were closing stores up north over this, and she’d hate to see that happen to this store. While we were loading our car, that employee came out to our car and confronted us over the issue. We explained what we had said, but he was still very angry. After we were safely in the car, I called the store and found out he is a manager there!
I spent the next two months trying to get the store and district managers to contact me, but no one ever did.
No matter how you feel about the mask mandate, it is NEVER okay for an employee to confront a customer at their car. My sister and I were both very uncomfortable and did not feel safe. I am even more disgusted that management did not feel this issue needed to...
Read moreI stay at this hotel because it's within walking distance to our corporate office in downtown Little Rock. It has everything you could possibly need for work or event travel. There is a restaurant on-site for breakfast and dinner or drinks. There are also different restaurant options within walking distance. The warm chocolate chip cookies and van transportation to and from the airport and in and around the local area is a major plus! My main gripe about downtown Little Rock in general are the homeless people wandering around. Especially around the bus depot. Some of my favorite places in DTLR to hang out and eat after work present a safety issue for me as a solo traveler because I have to be mindful to get back to the hotel before it gets too dark outside. Many of the people on the street look to be so far gone mentally they walk like zombies. Pretty concerning issue that local representatives for this area need to handle if attracting more commerce to the area...
