So for that past few days I have been on Google looking for a particular leather vest and I kept seeing one that caught my eye. When i saw the vest I was surprised to see that it was at Boot Barn at a near by area in which I live. So i went there in thought that it was in the store and I could possibly try it on b4 I purchased it. I was so happy and excited. When i entered the store it was a tall cacausian woman name Ana that was at the counter when I walked in, she was engaged with a customer at the counter at the time I walked in so I excused not being greeted upon entry. So as I proceeded to walk around the store looking at all the beautiful boots and clothing I past by serversl other customers. At this time now Ana is in the floor not with anyone. She saw ne at least twice and never spoke a word to me. I then heard her tell a customer to let her know if he needed any help with anything while at this time I was near by. When i heard her say this I said to her, You didn't offer to assist me , and have seen me at least 2 times? I need some help. She then told me that she had not saw me that she was in the back. Which she flat out lied to my face. I told her no you weren't, I saw u at the counter when iv walked in and walking on the floor. I wanted this vest so bad that I still asked her where it was located at, she then ask a lady named Jacqueline that I had not seen in the store. Conversating with her as I stood there like she was trying to help me. At this point I was over Ana because she did not acknowledge me and she lied. Once she called on Jacqueline u told her that I would rather just talk to her now than you , dismissing her. I told Jacqueline what I wanted and told her my situation and she was so patient , helpful and courteous to me. My phone was dead I couldn't show her the picture she was m went and got me a charger for my phone. She searched and found my vest on her little store phone, she listen to my concerns about the sizing and got me a tape measure and told me how to find the vest size measurements online. She also was patient with me and help me with making my purchase cause I did not have the physical card on had at the time. She did her magic and found a way and made it happen so I was able to make the purchase w I th tap pay. This lady customers service was OUTSTANDING . If she was not there I would have immediately left the store after the rudeness I felt from Ana. If u want a great experience at this store from some one that's personable, then ask for Jacqueline...
Read moreNEVER BUYING FROM HERE AGAIN. THEY RUINED MY $150 BOOTS!!! I wanted to do something to treat myself because in all honesty I have self confidence issues. I've been hesitant on buying a pair of nice boots for myself because of finances. After months of scrimping and saving and getting the courage to spend the money on a luxury like this for myself I finally bought a brand new pair of boots. I cant afford the super nice pairs so I was thrilled and excited I finally found a pair with in my price range. After ordering them in my size the calves were a little small which is no big deal because they will stretch then for me. Well after dropping them off for a few days I take the hour drive from SC because this is the closest location to me only to find that they only stretched one boot and not the other. On top of that they put a huge noticable crease in my brand new never been worn boot. I was lied straight to my face and told that that is normal from stretching. My cousin and grandfathers were both cobblers for 30+ years. I know for a fact that it is NOT normal if you know what your doing. Rather than throw a fit I kept my cool and knew that me getting angry wasnt going to get me anywhere. One of the managers spoke to another manager and after a short wait I was given a big middle finger to the face and was told I was SOL that I signed a waiver. Had I been properly informed that what I signed was a waiver I would have NOT gone to them. Rather than them doing the ethical thing and give me a refund or at least order me a new pair that is not damaged all they offered was to stretch the other boot. I URGE CORPORATE IF THEY SEE THIS THAT THEY MAKE IT RIGHT AND DO THE ETHICAL THING, NOT JUST GIVE ME SOME GENERIC SHPEAL OF SAYIN IM SOL. I was not properly informed before hand that I was...
Read moreAs a visitor to the area once a year, it is tradition for me to stop at Boot Barn and buy my one pair of boots for the year. Buying boots online is a crapshoot. I want to try them on! That's why Boot Barn is great...However, my visit this year was not enjoyable. In fact, one employee in particular irritated me so badly that I almost left without making a purchase. As I explained at the register that I could not locate the matching boot, the employee blew a big Hubba Bubba bubble, popped it in my face, and made a point to drag me to the rack to show me just how ridiculous I had been not being able to find the matching boot.."I mean comeon lady, it's RIGHT HERE".. She led me back to the register, and asked if I would like to apply for a store credit card. If I was accepted I would receive a 20% discount. Well, no brainer there. As I entered my information to apply for the card her exact words were, " I doubt you'll get it. (Pops another bubble)..It requires a high credit score"...How..dare..she.. What a horrible assumption..As I walked out of the store WITH my 20% discount, and my temporary store card, my daughter turned to me..Mama, I hope that lady blows a bubble so big it gets stuck in her nose and bangs.. you know what baby...
