As a regular patron of Lazy Dog, my husband and I have had the pleasure of experiencing top-notch service from Janice, the talented bartender who has become a highlight of our visits.

From the moment we met Janice, her warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel like valued guests. She possesses a deep knowledge of the menu and consistently offers insightful recommendations that have never failed to impress. Whether it's suggesting a new craft beer or mixing up a creative cocktail, Janice's expertise shines through in every interaction.

What sets Janice apart is her genuine interest in her customers. She remembers our preferences and always takes the time to chat, creating a personalized experience that goes beyond just serving drinks. Her professionalism is matched only by her charm, making every visit to Lazy Dog a delight.

Beyond her skills behind the bar, Janice embodies the spirit of hospitality. She handles even the busiest evenings with grace and efficiency, ensuring that every patron receives the same exceptional level of service. Her passion for her craft is evident in every drink she prepares, and her dedication to creating a positive atmosphere is truly commendable.

In conclusion, Janice has become more than just a bartender to us; she's a key reason why Lazy Dog has become a favorite spot for my husband and me. Her outstanding service, combined with her friendly personality, has consistently exceeded our expectations. We look forward to many more enjoyable evenings at Lazy Dog, thanks to Janice's exceptional care and...

The Comedy of Errors at Lazy Dog Concord

Met some friends at Lazy Dog here in Concord. They arrived at 8:15pm, and I rolled in at the fashionable time of 8:23pm on Thursday, July 18, 2024. With the place being as empty as a ghost town, you'd think the service would be top-notch. Oh, how naive we were.

In the great tradition of mirages, I have yet to see a refill on my drink. Our waters? Drier than the Sahara. But wait, it gets better. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, thinking we'd be treated to a smorgasbord of delights. They came out with our meals, because who doesn’t love a good timing disaster?

Now, I ordered a burger with a Caesar salad. What do I get? Fries. Because, clearly, Caesar was a fry guy, right? Our waiter must be the invisible man because it’s now past 9:30pm, and we’re being ignored more than a mime convention. No apologies, of course, because that might actually involve customer service.

To top it all off, we smell gas from the propane tank outside. We’re all higher than Cheech & Chong, and when we told the staff, they took us about as seriously as a rubber chicken. And the cherry on top? They forgot the kids' ice cream.

P.S. There is no manager on deck, and as of right now, we still feel sick inside like we caught some sick bird flu or something from that gas. So, if you’re into subpar service, getting your order wrong, and a side of potential explosion, Lazy Dog Concord is your...

Lazy Dog Restaurant is a delightful culinary haven that has captured my taste buds, especially with their heavenly Banana Pudding. As soon as I indulged in this delectable dessert, I was transported to a world of pure bliss.

The Banana Pudding at Lazy Dog is a masterpiece of flavors and textures. Creamy custard layered with slices of ripe bananas and topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream, it's a harmonious symphony of sweetness that leaves a lasting impression. The balance of the rich custard and the natural sweetness of the bananas is nothing short of perfection.

Beyond the Banana Pudding, Lazy Dog's menu is a culinary adventure with a diverse selection of dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether you're craving a juicy burger, a hearty pasta, or fresh seafood, the restaurant delivers a remarkable array of options.

The ambiance at Lazy Dog is warm and inviting, with a rustic charm that makes you feel right at home. The attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience, making each visit a memorable one.

In conclusion, Lazy Dog Restaurant's Banana Pudding is a must-try dessert for anyone with a sweet tooth. It's the perfect ending to a fantastic meal that showcases the restaurant's commitment to exceptional flavors and hospitality. If you're looking for a place to indulge in mouthwatering dishes and delightful desserts, Lazy Dog is the...

It's always a good thing when going to a restaurant and having good wait staff. And this was one of those times, somehow for some reason I ended up in Concord in the middle of the week and ended up having a healthy meal. It did cost me a little more than I expected but, it was worth it for this visit. Darrin was my wait person and he was nice, friendly and informative, realizing I was a bit indecisive about what to order. He offered up a good suggestion, but I ended up venturing out on my own. This visit consisted of a side of roasted Brussel Sprouts and Hush Puppies, both were delicious and enjoyable. Because I spontaneously ended up out in Concord on a random day, there weren't many patrons in the restaurant which was really quite nice, it was nice to be able to be in my own head and think in that quiet space. And it's very unlike the places I am surrounded in, most of the time. There were a few drawbacks, in that it seemed that some of the wait staff enjoyed pacing in front of me, which did cause an interruption and disruption to my visit. It was like they were "trying" to relay a message, but did so in a pictionary sort of way, instead of using their words directly to my face. It was strange. Anyhow, I appreciated the service I received from Darrin and enjoyed the quiet of an empty restaurant. It was just a pleasant experience.

It was OK. All these chain type restaurants are practically all the same very long menu with little hints of culinary theme and decor changes that try to make them unique. But they're all the same. They shut down Elephant Bar around the same time this popped up (to replace ElTorrrio) but really it's no loss no gain, not much different food wise. When a place has a little of everything (see Cheesecake Factory) on the menu, that means they don't do any one thing good. It's all just blah. The outside area is nice but be aware that it's got a dog park vibe. As in, people bring their dogs. The food was tasty but it took forever. The server apologized saying our ticket got passed over or something. I ordered the fried chicken & biscuit brunch item. The fried chicken wasn't battered, crispy KFC style fried chicken. It was a flat boneless slab breaded and fried. And the sausage wasn't a link of sausage it was ground sausage pieces floating in the gravy. It was tasty but I would have preferred what I expected. If you don't care about generic food and want to bring your dog to eat with you, this is the place.

Great place! First time eating here and will definitely go back! It's a pleasant, trendy, casual upscale place, with a very nice covered outdoor dining patio. Nicely decorated and best of all, Dog Friendly! We took our pup and most folks on the patio also had dogs. All were well behaved and non disruptive. The atmosphere was very pleasurable and the food was hot fresh and delicious. Also had cocktails that were excellent. Lots of interesting creative menu choices, asking with some more traditional items. Five of us ordered different entrees and we were all very pleased with our meal. Only one ding, we made a reservation for five foot the patio and arrived on time. We watched another group of four let themselves on to the patio without checking in. They seated themselves, even though the sign says you must check in. The waitress came out front and informed the front desk they the party snuck in and instead of asking them to follow proper procedures, they let them stay and be served, while we were kept waiting for a table beyond out reservation time.
