Panera Bread — Restaurant in Concord

Very disappointed. I ordered potato soup with sandwich. When the sandwich was brought to the table I was told there was no potato soup now, not that they ran out at 11:30 am, but that they are not serving it for a while. I pointed out that is is on the order board, the employee replied "yeah we haven't taken it off yet." I then said I'll take the clam chowder then, she said all we are serving at this time is broccoli cheddar & chicken with rice. There are 4 or 5 soups listed on the order board, again the employee replied "we are not selling those now, we just haven't taken them off the board." She then rolled her eyes at me when I said I want my money back then for the soup I ordered & paid for that was not being offered. Will be a long time before I waste my time there again. I love Paneras food but the service today was not the greatest. I had one of the workers sweeping under the tables very close to me getting in my personal space which I think is very rude. And the fact that the. Bathroom is being closed 30 mins before closing to be cleaned I think is not right. If you are still allowing customers to dine in at that time then you should definitely have your bathroom open. And lastly the fact that the air conditioning is on full blast Everytime I come in really sucks. I love coming to Panera to do homework and the fact that I have to be coming in dresses like it's winter is ridiculous. I'm sure this is done on purpose to keep people from staying too long but I don't think it's right because I buy food everytime I come in and It sucks that I have to be prepared with extra layers if I want to sit and eat. I have been to Panera breads all up and down the west coast and this is the worst location I have visited. Poor customer service from the counter workers who were more concerned with their weekend plans then taking my order. Placed my order and were not informed of any issues at that time. Fifteen minutes later I was told they were out of broccoli and cheese soup. An hour and a half before closing you’re out?? Or you didn’t want to have to make more? I was informed by an employee who had her young daughter following her around the restaraunt. Not very professional. At that point I opted to return my entire order and go elsewhere.
