Our family of 4 happened to be lucky enough to visit this location on a whim back in May while we were celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday 🥳. We entered the doors just before closing with enthusiasm and excitement through the roof to go in and grab each our individual favorites. Ashlee grabbed the blueberry, Noah the lemon, and Nehemiah the snickerdoodle, but I was sorta left bombed because it was my 1st time learning that they’d discontinued my favorite, pecan praline…🥹. As the manager overheard the conversation I was having with the young lady serving us up front, she came out and offered me a FREE pecan praline bundt cake. Hesitant at first because I was assuming there was a catch maybe. However she’d explained that it was a cancellation and it was still fresh and free for me to have if I wanted it and that it would be the last pecan praline cake to ever be made in their bakery (unless the company reversed their stance on discontinuing the flavor). With the news and reality I graciously accepted the cake and was glad to share it with the newly elected board members of our boy’s school PTO. It’s been over a month since that visit but their service that day has definitely left a stain on my brain. Many thanks to the manager and staff on location at the Conroe location. Read moreI was very upset and frustrated when I went to my local store to find out the promotion I purchased last year For "a Lifetime" of free fourth Bundt cake with my purchase of three Bundt cakes was no longer being honored. Last year when I went to purchase two Bundt cakes (the medium ones) there was a current promotion that if I purchased three I got one free...IF I bought the tote bag. I bought the tote bag and I bought the third bundt cake. I've used it two times and apparently since they rolled out their app which apparently has more points in benefits, this location chose not to continue with everyone who bought the tote bag. That is dishonest and unethical to promote something for as long as I had the bag if was not going to be honored as promoted. I will definitely go to a different location from now on, as I do not want to support owners who will make a deal with me and go back on it. Not only that, but to do their employees that way to have to deal with every customer like myself who bought the bag.... I realize it's not the manager's fault. These stores are independently owned and operated. There are multiple stores in my town and I will find one that still honors the promotion they had last year. Read moreJust picked up my birthday cake and was HIGHLY disappointed in the customer service from Rae. We called prior to arriving to confirm the cake that was ordered days prior was ready. A box was brought to us from the back. I asked if we could see it before we left. I'm glad that we did because it was the wrong cake all together. She rolled her eyes and stormed off with the box. I let her know that we had the order number and that we called this morning to confirm. She didn't seem to care or even acknowledge it. She brought the correct cake out that was labeled and wrapped in celephane. What upset me the most was that she JUST TOSSED IT on the counter like it was nothing.
