After eating here 4 or 5 times in the last 15 years, I'm finally deciding to call it quits after multiple not-so-pleasant dining experiences here. There are no smiles to greet us, just older gent mumbling in another language as he walked away. I asked him for a menu after about 3 minutes. I also asked if they had one of my favorite appetizers and his response was intelligible so I said never mind because there was too much of a language barrier to keep attempting. The bento box at 3 PM in the afternoon was about 20 bucks. I wanted a sushi roll on the side so my meal total was about $35 for just myself for a late lunch. The waitress arrived with a whispery voice which was fine, but she was wearing a face shield with crusty food & smears covering it which was disgusting. I wasn't able to figure out how she could see what she was serving and and could only imagine what was falling off into the food & water being served. The miso soup was the temp of day old bath water. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant dining experience and the taste of every single item was very mediocre at best. Dunzo with supporting this business!

We were a group of 7 very excited to try out a lot of the different items on the menu. However, as soon as the waiter came to us, he was very hostile and asked us, before even greeting us: "What? Are you in the wrong place?!" I have no idea why he would ask that to begin with. I should've gotten up and left with my family. But the little ones really wanted sushi, so we still placed our orders. As you can tell, the presentation of the food was okay. Do not be fooled! I was devastated at the taste of my fried rice with chicken. The chicken was old and tasted like it was reheated chicken, not fresh. The rice was burnt and tasteless. To make matters worse, they overcharged us and even "TIPPED THEMSELVES!" DO NOT COME HERE, THE FOOD WILL MAKE YOU SICK AND SO WILL THEIR PRICES.

This place was super cute! It had very delicious sushi and udon. My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our way back from our honeymoon in Yosemite and were pleasantly surprised. The curry udon was quite flavorful but had no protein, which was fine since I had ordered a Yosemite Roll as well. My husband got 3 different rolls and enjoyed each one, especially the salmon skin roll, which was crunchy and full of flavor. The service was really good, all 4 of the employees were very kind and attentive. They had a lunch deal that was a very good value- a tempura udon soup with either an avocado roll or a california roll for $17

Went by excited to eat authentic Japanese food again. Ordered stir fried veggies wanting... vegetables. Was extremely disappointed when they gave me a bowl of white rice with a small layer of onions on top. Only reason I'm giving two stars is because the nice lady who I assume is the owner came and asked how everything was and when I mentioned that I was hoping for vegetables, she attempted to make me happy by providing me a little bit of broccoli and zucchini. Still highly dissatisfied, as I paid $9 for like 5 pieces of broccoli, 5 little slices of zucchini, some chopped pieces of bok Choi I think, and 10 slices of onion. The amount of food I got was less than I'd consider for a mid-day snack and I had fasted all day.

Also, got the gyoza and it was tried much more heavily than traditional gyoza and the veggies inside were also untypical. Pretty sure there was some corn and peas inside. Just seemed like random veggies you'd find on the frozen isle of the dollar tree. What a waste of money and time. At least she seemed nice. I should have gotten sushi or something. Worst japanese food I've ever had. Also those health and safety guidelines for covid listed here are...

Not good. We got almost $200 worth of sushi and it was almost all very disappointing. The Pink Rolls and Philadelphia Rolls were good (even though we only received 3 of the 4 Philadelphias we paid for), but ALL of the other 10 rolls we got were sub-par. The dragon Rolls, California Rolls, Avocado Rolls, all 3 or 4 types of Nigiri, Unagi Avocado Rolls, Crunch Rolls, and Spicy Tuna and Salmon Rolls were all a complete let down. The fish wasn't fresh, some even inedible. The rice was hard and dry. The shrimp was rubbery and some looked spoiled with green spots (we did not eat those). We were very unhappy with our experience...

The salads and fried rice weren't good or fresh either. Not to mention the service was TERRIBLE. Poor phone etiquette and rude staring from the cash register worker was just the cherry on top.

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Just go...
