Normally have a excellent experience at lunch. We went for dinner this evening. We were seated right away. Then waited about 15 before my wife went to the hostess and asked if we could have our drink orders be taken at least. We had seen several other tables around us be seated, and served drinks and appetizers by the time we decided to speak up for ourselves. I told my wife we should just leave because it's not going to get any better. And boy was I right. Several minutes after my wife had went to the hostess, a waitress, that had just served an appetizer to a table (that had be seated nearly 10 mins after we were seated), walked by us and said, "your waiter left so I'll be your waitress tonight." Then she walked away. A couple mins later she came back and served some drinks to another table, then stopped by our table and asked to take our drink orders. She was super nice and explained that management had sent home 4 of the wait staff before the evening rush. We put in our drink and appetizer order and she asked if we would like to go ahead and order our entre as well since we had already been waiting a while. We did. And she came back with some rolls and a water. Then we waited another 20 mins while she served other table. She came by and said she would check on our alcohol and we asked if we could get a second water. Then a little while later she came by with the water and said she would check on our alcohol again. She came back with our alcohol. Then shortly after another waitress brought our entre. When our waitress came by to see how the food was tasting, we asked that she remove the appetizer and the sides from our ticket since we never got them and at this point we were going to be full anyways. She apologized and aknowledged that we had received terrible service and that she hoped this wouldn't deter us from coming back. I saw the manager going table to table checking on the customers. He looked over at me, made eye contact, turned and walked away quickly without checking on our table. We've been to logans before and he's always checked on us before. Not sure what was different about tonight. Our waitress came by and asked us if we were ready for the check and we said yes. She brought it, we paid, we left and here I am writing this review, wondering why. I mean, normally they have good service, so why even worry about this one time fluke? I guess because it was just so spectacularly bad? Honestly I probably wouldn't have written this review but when that manager locked eyes with me and then scurried away, I felt like "hmm, maybe it wasn't the waitress's fault, maybe it WAS the manager, and he doesn't want to own up to...
Read moreOur visit started with the hostess seating our party of 7 at a booth, we requested a table to which she rolled her eyes. The dining room was not busy at all. Maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. The air conditioning was on and it was pretty cold with an outside temp in the 60s. Service took quite a while from drink order to meal order. I've had quicker service at other restaurants when they were packed. Several in our party ordered salads. Those came out wrong. 2 of us ordered dressing on the side but salads came drenched in the dressing. I ordered no croutons, she specifically asked, my salad came with croutons and my husband's did not. He ordered vinegar and oil and his salad came with vinaigrette. Dinner was a mess! My husband ordered a 16oz ribeye and was brought a 6oz sirloin. My son was given baked beans instead of his baked potatoe, my husband requested no sour cream on his potatoe and it was covered. My son's ribeye looked like a thin breakfast steak. As soon as our waitress served us she we sent my husband's plate back to get what he ordered. She didn't return for a while as we all waited for steak sauce. When she did come back we requested steak sauce and waited another good while for her to return with my husband's new plate. She asked if we needed anything and I told her we still had not received our steak sauce. She blamed someone else for not bringing it. Then brought out 3 condiment cups for 6 steaks. My husband's replacement potatoe still had sour cream. The steak was not fit to eat. Other steaks were chared with dry edges that were not edible. The best part of our meal was the rolls and the mushrooms. We...
Read moreThis was my 3rd time coming over the course of about 10 years. At the specific location in Conway, Ar. Every time I have came, I swear to not return; but then I have a guest with me whom has never been to Logan's and would like to go try, and I end up going.
#1: OUR SERVER WAS GREAT!
#2: Our rolls came out as biscuits. (Server apologized.)
#3: We ordered an appetizer(10.99) that was never brought to us before our meal. It was actually finally served to us AFTER we received our entrees.
#4: My Sprite I ordered was something like Soda Water(I didn't complain about it)
#5: My guests' Peach tea was definitely NOT Peach Tea. However, we were impressed by the Mason Jar.
#6: My Ribeye sandwich had no sauce. Thankfully I ordered Ranch Dressing on the side for my Waffle Fries. Ribeye sandwich had only two pickles and the thick white part of the lettuce(not leafy or flat).
#7: We wanted to order dessert(Cobbler ala mode, looked great!) But we opted not to considering this experience. When it came time to pay, I just paid, left my Server a well deserved tip, and grabbed my appetizer that was served in a To-Go styrofoam container(definitely not worth 10.99. Had literally 3 pieces of steak in the queso. Plus, a very small portion for the price.)
As my guest agreed, we didn't see any value in complaining about each and every small instance above, but the totality of these instances were great.
Thank you for listening. I hope things...
