This started few months ago. I feel pretty stupid writing this review, but I feel like someone needs to hear me out in the company. One of the guys working there named Dante is really kind of getting on my nerves making me question if I really need this coffee cup today. Is bad that I have to make sure the window who’s working at the drive-through so I don’t get stuck. I do not feel comfortable with this gentleman handling My food forget my money. First two times I interacted with Kevin at the drive-through. He took money out of my change and put it in the tip jar and took his apron off and left the next guy that came to finish my order. I told him that I did not get my change back properly the guy before you took money out of it. So the poor guy didn’t even question him and gave me my change back properly, but I did tell him that he took it out. Check your camera. Few Days later, it happened again this time he was holding onto my change and said are you leaving a tip? I said I’m sorry I can’t today. I only have the two dollars left for change in my wallet. The girls are amazing. Everybody else that I have never had an issue with for the 20 years I’ve been here. Today was the cherry on top. I added a sandwich for my daughter to the order, they charged me for it then noticed that they were out of stock. The same guy, Dante took my card and my refund for the sandwich box bag, and I see my iced coffee on the table. He took it and threw it in the trash. Walk away, so I screamed. I need my coffee even though you refund me for the sandwich can I please have my coffee? Another lady came up and asked me what did you have so I had to retail my whole order for the coffee which is not easy for me since I have not had a PhD in ordering of Starbucks yet. ( I can’t pronounce half the menu) don’t ask me to move to the slide so they can bring my coffee that he threw away for no reason. I had to wait half an hour for one cup of coffee that came with a side of attitude and not even a sorry or thank you. I understand having a bad day, but I don’t understand what the attitude is for for the customer every time to come. If you’re not happy with your job,...
Read moreI just wanna say, I’ve had wayyyy better Starbucks in my life. Usually I go to Aroma Joes because they have awesome service and even though it’s a fast coffee joint they are at least friendly and I know it absolutely sucks working in food service.
When I walked in to Starbucks on a pinch, I was immediately met with a male cashier that just was ready to be pissy. I get up to the counter I say hello, I simply ask can you make me a French vanilla 2 & 2 grande coffee. I stammered on my words because I haven’t bought Starbucks in forever. My response was met with a condescending and irritated “We. Don’t. Have. French Vanilla. We have Vanilla.” So to match his energy I just went “sure I’ll take one of those.” He turns around and makes it half assed. I pay and obviously not going to tip at this point. He hands me this piping hot coffee with another snyde and condescending “have a good day” which I replied “yeah you too.” Get out to my car and a well, I go to take a sip. I’ve had vanilla 2 and 2 coffee…. That was nothing I ordered, it was black with no sweetener and if it was it was very much the bare in that department. When I get a vanilla 2 and 2 from aromas it has the blend of coffee, cream, sugar and flavoring. What I was handed for an almost $5 cup of coffee was swill. Do better in your training. I know food service blows, and I know retail in general blows, but I wasn’t one of those customers that came in ready to duke it out with a minimum wage worker. DO. BETTER....
Read moreUnfortunately, this location seems to continue to struggle. It could be the overall vibe with tourists though. More then one starbucks in the valley may help this problem. Staffing, training and consistency while supporting your staffers needs. It's clear since the new ceo moved in the staff at all locations are depressed, frustrated and dissapointed in their company. This plays out in their ability to serve the costumer.
Take a look at your staff. Every location i visit and its many. I'm NH, Massachusetts and Maine. North conway is the worst. Staff is clearly unhappy, the taunt, gossip and defame the customer. It's very obvious.
If you hate your job quit. There are two men at this location that are by far the most miserable staffers I've ever encountered at a starbucks or any service job. Management needs to hire people that like retail and food services.
Lastly, your options are annoying. You get the customer addicted to a syrup then you change it. Or stop for seasonal selections. Your oatmilk has clearly changed and is not as good. Guess costs are the driving factor. The change in products will be the main reason I leave. Easy to get a smile and consistency with a local mom and pop one minute away.
Please go back to the original oatmilk and train your north...
