(READ BEFORE VISITING) Horrible experience. I chose this establishment to celebrate my 30th Birthday. The section was $150 which had to be paid in cash at the location along with an additional $350 min. on the day of the event. I arrived to the location to book the section and before paying I made sure to ask about the expectation of timeliness for the section and what was included. I was told since I was paying for the section, the area I select would be reserved with a sign for the time I selected and would come with a bottle of champagne. I chose 9pm and picked the area I wanted to sit in. I called the establishment twice before arrival but no one answered. I arrived at 9:18 on the night of my event with my guest however there was a group sitting in the section. I waited for the host to come for about 10 mins before letting her know I was there for a section I paid for but someone was already sitting there. Immediately she had a very nasty attitude and told me they paid as well and to let her look into it. She walked away and did not return for another 5 mins. When she returned she said because I was late they allowed them to have additional time. Politely I let her know what was told to me when I paid my deposit, with an attitude she rolled her eyes ignoring my comment and said "I'll be right back." My guest and I stood in the front for a few more mins, then she returned and said we can sit at the bar until the group finished. We waited another 30 mins before sitting down. Once the group had gotten up she said we could have a seat. The area was not fully cleaned as of yet and was being cleaned while we were sitting. Our waitress arrived and asked for our order. I told her I would like to speak to a manager before anything because as of now I do not understand what I paid the nonrefundable $150 for because it did not even secure the area and there were plenty of empty tables and bar seats that we could have just walked in and sat at for FREE. I watched her walk to the host and tell her. The host walked outside and took about 15 mins to come over. I asked if she was the manager and said she was the GM and the top of the line. I politely explained to her my frustration and asked if any accommodation would be made for the situation. She had a nasty attitude and told me no because I was late. I proceeded to enjoy my night and my section with 5 people spent over $700 not including tip in the establishment. Our waitress was very slow because she had multiple tables. We waited a long time for everything. The waitress and host were so rude to us like we did something wrong. I am a business professional and an adult that knows how to manage my emotions. There was no time that I was rude, loud, nasty or refused to pay so I do not understand how they could treat me this way. Definitely ruined my big 30, although I live in Conyers I will not be back and I want to let everyone I know don't waste their time or money instead go downtown Atlanta for a more reliable and real...
Read moreI attended a birthday party on a Tuesday evening. The special of the night was the $3 taco special (fish, chicken, steak) and $3 tequila, though I opted out of the house tequila while others in our group enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by several issues.
The service was notably slow, primarily because there was only one server covering the entire floor and one bartender. With around 15 people in our group, it was clear that the restaurant was ill-prepared for such a crowd. The food took a long time to come out, largely due to having just one cook in the kitchen.
Moreover, the restaurant ran out of house tequila and 1800, both crucial for the advertised special and other drinks on the menu. The waitress informed our group that they couldn’t make the pitchers of margaritas they’d been ordering because of the shortage. Although I enjoyed my Don Julio margaritas, it was clear that the lack of preparation affected the overall experience.
While in the bathroom, I overheard staff members complaining that our group didn't make a reservation. I understand that handling a large, unexpected party can be challenging. However, had we not come, the restaurant seemed like it would have had a slow night, with only a few patrons trickling in and out.
Businesses need to be prepared for any situation, especially when promoting specials like $3 tacos and tequila. While Azure has potential and the food was decent (although very slow and not what was promised - my chicken tacos had sweet chili sauce and lettuce on them and not the aioli/ lettuce/tomato the other tacos had on them that folks ordered prior to me- again a sign of lack of preparation), better preparation and staffing are essential to handle (potentially)busy nights effectively. Calamari we order as an app came out with the tacos. It was hard and cold. I could tell if it had been fresh it may have been good. My cousin’s taco shells were hard so that means it got hold to air or were in the correct packaging before use. Tacos were not hot. Just things could be better.
Overall, Azure could be a great spot, but improvements in management and preparation are needed to ensure a smoother experience for all patrons.

Read more9/30/2023: First time Party of 3. The atmosphere on a Saturday night is a mature crowd, right up our ally. The music and vibes set the tone. The salmon bites were delicious, no complaints. The Azure drinks with the Malibu, grenadine etc was terrible, too much grenadine could not taste the alcohol, per the manager, bartender and server it is a sweet drink, no excuse as to why there was 3/4 grenadine Quite unacceptable! The Patron shots were watered down. Per the bartender, if ordered cold that means it is server chilled meaning she put ice in the drinks and shake it up. Big difference from being served cold/refrigerated. No disclaimer as to how Azure serves a cold shot verses a chill shot. You would think we ordered a martini and we ordered 6 patron shots. 9 drinks in total. Solution is to order another drink which you have to pay for again, I’m a drink connoisseur, I know my drink! Be careful when ordering your drinks, they are being watered down and the establishment does not care because “ all sales are final” doesn’t matter if it is up to par. The manager was no help. She took her sweet time before coming to talk to us, little did she know that we paid our bill before she decided to talk with us so not to confuse service with freebies. Her solution a free appetizer after the fact (which we did not accept). To the owners of this establishment, reputation and word of mouth goes a long way. Keep an eye on what your business is offering to patrons. We don’t appreciate being taken advantage of, no one does! 3...
