Crisp and Green — Restaurant in Coon Rapids

Came in tonight exited to get an açaí bowl but the second we walked in the atmosphere was negative staff completely ignored us. This girl mean mugged the other customer while handing off their food. Waited for a bit while looking at the menu while the girl walked to the back. It wasn’t until the girl came back around glared at us and then proceeded to walk to the back while we waited for 10 more minutes where we were like okay that’s weird. No greeting no I’ll be right with you okay must be a bad day I get it. Keep in mind no other customers were in the store so it wasn’t crazy busy or anything. I kid you not she just walked away and literally waited for us to leave. I love this place but we walked out without getting anything because no one came to help us after being patient for 10-15 minutes. It was weird going from coming in the mornings and seeing the high energy crew vs coming in at night. I understand rough days or customers coming in right before close but this was at 8pm still open for another hour and the store was dead inside. When we decided to walk out the girl peeked around the back to make sure we left and then stayed in the back. GM - please have a conversation with your night crew on customer service, sense of urgency, and communication. Feeling unwelcomed in one of my favorite spots is disappointing :( this happened on 3.17.25 around 7:50-8:05 PM this is the first bad experience I’ve had here since you guys...

Food was super fresh made right in front of you. I ordered the Thai dish. Fresh and healthy portion of shrimp! I hope they keep it that way! Higher prices but it was worth it! Service was ok. I said it was for here but she served me a to go bowl. Server did ask if I wanted water since I didn’t order anything to drink and gave me a cup but didn’t tell me where the water was or the utensils. I did end up finding the drinks and forks once I found the drinks hidden around the corner. Full disclaimer: Server was nice but shy. I’m just a stickler for good service. Food is awesome, very similar to what I eat at home which is great because a good choice when I'm not able to make my own food. Staff was great. Rated atmosphere low due to two issues that are incredibly specific to me: The acoustics are horrible, hard to have a conversation with someone just across the table due to structure of restaurant as well as food prep noises (blender/fans/oven) I left smelling very strongly if bacon which was being cooked while we were there. I could smell it in my hair and I am not a fan of that smell. I know it's a risk you take when eating out, just thought I'd mention it in case the store is looking for any...
