Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Copley Township

The drive thru in Montrose is horrible!!!! Every time we come here We pull up and we get the ghetto “go head and order” Order a number three with a sprite the response I get is “we out of sprite” okay coke is fine

Order chili mac, “ we have no chili” “Wait was the drink on the number three” Customer: Coke please “Do u want ketchup” customer: no thank you! No response!!!! Not a total or go ahead and pull around Order 4 items and we sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes. The dining room is closed and their is one car in front of us And we heard their order of 3 items as well. Is this steak and shake connected to the canton steak and shake as well??? Do we have a district manager or area manager around to give some help You would think as the only restaurant open in Montrose at 4 am they would do a little better to keep business running??? I mean us and the car in front of us have turned our cars off and parked. And the customer in front of us had to knock on the drive through window and honk his horn for the employee to return to the window.

Cmon, the rest of the bartenders and servers who work until 4 am don’t want to drive to Wadsworth or cuyahoga falls to get some damn good service or good food !!!

Even worse when you are desperate for food at 4 am after working a 12 hour shift we get some cold French fries and cold fresco melt that is burnt to a crisp. And they forgot my one order of fries and I’m so tired I have no energy to go back through the drive through to care. Thank you for another bad experience in a couple of months. I’ll make sure to drive further away for...

I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening, not too busy, but not empty either. We were sat next to the door against a large milkshake ad, which after further inspection was covered in filth. Food and soda stains 8 ft up from the floor. We placed our orders rather quickly and the waitress was nice and told us that they were short staffed and it would be a slightly longer wait. She came back to check on us after 10 or so minutes and apologized for the wait. She came back a couple more times over the next 30 minutes before finally returning to tell us they were out of half our order and wanted to know if we wanted substitutions. At this point, 45 minutes of waiting I would have accepted about anything edible. 10 minutes or so later she brings our food out. No silverware, the check from another table, and burgers completely overcooked. Needless to say our waitress did not return to refill drinks, ask how the food was, or for any other reason until we got her attention as she brought food to the table who's check we had. She got us our check and told us they would fix our check at the register for the subsitutions. They did not, but did remove the drinks/milkshake from our order. As we were walking to register we see a woman carrying 8 or so sodas on a drink carrier out of the building. The cashier who closed our check mentioned the manager just left when I requested to speak to someone regarding the absolutely awful service. Under no circumstances...

We went there to buy some milkshakes for the kids, got them and they gave us 3 straw's instead of 5!

So had to drive back! As the queue was so big, I decided to walk in by the window and ask for the 2 straw's. As there was a car being attended, so I waited on the side. The car that had been served, had 2 people smoking "joint" and it smell so so strong and disturbing! So I carry on waiting... the lady in the car then starts to talk to me abusively to movie away! I explained to her what I was waiting for but she become more abusive!

The window opens and I explained all to the window sales assistant, instead of her just handing me the straw's, she asks me to walk all the way to the inside of the shop!

I walk in and patiently waited 2/3 minutes more before she came to hand me the straw's and, I asked if she couldn't just had done that from the window instead of making me wait, exposed kids to the disturbing smell and the scene caused?

With the most terrible attitude one can imagine, she replies to me that the people didn't want me near their car so I shouldn't be there...

Am I crazy or would anyone in their sense of mind try to just hand in the straw's and finish with case that was HER MISTAKE in the first place for not putting the exact number of straw's for each milkshake we bought?

Kindly help me...
