Denny's — Restaurant in Coral Gables

As I have traveled throughout US . Dennys is always the place most Americans can count on . Some better than others . It’s a decent breakfast many hrs a day , comfort food anytime American food . The Menu is consistently mostly the same . But who cooks it & who services you it’s what makes the difference. Went to this Dennys I used to go when younger at times when visiting Miami Florida. Because the one we go to is remodeling. I say this Dennys Service is at top of list for being the worst at service, the worst at accountability, the worst at not refilling your coffee cup . Getting overcharged. And charging incorrectly And forget about bringing it to their attention and letting Dennys corporate know . You get a person from the restaurant that can barely speak English calling herself a general manager . Which tells you the best she can do for you is for you to go back that restaurant so she can give you a free meal . And then she basically tells you that this location is a franchise and they have their own rules . She also makes a point to tell you Most Dennys are franchises nowadays and they are ranned by Franchise owners so they now operate differently. Which tells me the old American ways of Dennys are gone & if I want better I need to scratch them off my list and share w/ the world my experience. Most of the consumers that eat at Dennys have a certain expectation of decent reliable service with a menu and a good recipe that you can always count on . This attitude of no accountability is not what this Country was build on . Sadly we have to now consider to change old habits and have lower expectations if we go to places like this . Or find better choices . My suggestion is : Don’t try this Dennys which is probably at the top of the worst Dennys in America . Ironically they are located on Miracle street . And it might just take a Miracle to make this place stay afloat. You’ll check it once and probably never return. The food is not the problem. The cook is ok . It’s the service and management that...
