Authentic food, great competitive price and generous portions!!
The best Thai food in Miami. I spent a lot of my childhood (and still spend time whenever I can) in Bangkok since my family lived there for long time and some still do. Raised in a family full of chefs and food lovers, I know authentic Thai food is hard to find in Miami.
My partner and I ordered delivery from Khao San 3 times in 2 weeks and loved it so much we decided we had to go to the restaurant. We ordered Kao man gai (chicken rice), Thai sausages, pad Thai, pad kee mao and pad see ew for delivery purposely leaving their unique street food dishes to be tasted in person.
Their pork leg stew with rice and bok choy (A MUST) from my knowledge is not offered at any other restaurant in Miami. Such a rare dish to find made me so happy to have such a nostalgic taste. The meat was tender and delicious.
The beef noodles - a long time favorite. Meat also tender and broth full of flavor. I got it with egg noodles. (Highly recommend)
Other dishes I enjoyed: Thai sausages, som Tum (papaya salad), and moo ping aka pork skewers (tender and tasty).
I love to eat Thai spicy and fish sauce but they offer a range of spicy level to suit what you want. Thanks to Stu I always get my fix.
Absolutely love it - we’re...

The reason I am giving three stars is because the menu includes "bell peppers", and I asked for extra onions & garlic, and there was none included; If there was a charge that would not have been a problem.
It is just disappointing when you pick-up an order, get home and open it, and it is missing something you asked for and nothing was said. Also the pictures of the green curry show a good amount of eggplant and other vegetables, mine had a couple of small pieces of eggplant, and barely anything else I could identify. Usually Thai food has lots of stir-fried vegetables.
It was the same with the chicken Earth, Wind, & Fire. The sauce was good, just a little sweet, so it seems it may have sugar. Also, although the Menu says it includes "mixed vegetables" all I could see was a few pieces of curly cabbage maybe?
The other thing was that the rice was sticky and starchy. I have had some very good quality Thai rices, this was not one of them.
This place has been around for a long time because it is the former Bankok Bankok. It could be really Good, but there are some...
