Mangonadas By MLB on the bay — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

This place was awesome! It’s an ice cream shop but also offers a variety of drinks, including agua frescas, lemonades, smoothies, and shakes. Nachos and hot dogs are available on the menu, plus specific food, drinks, and sorbet options for kids.

I ordered nachos with jalapeños - which were fresh, delicious, and just enough spice - and the MIGHTY PINA! Oh My Goodness does it live up to the name. A hallowed pineapple filled with mango sorbet, lime, cherry, and coconut ice cream, fresh fruit toppings (pineapples, strawberries, mangoes), and dressed with gummy bears and sour candy. It is worth every penny. 😋

This place is wonderful. I got the iconic Pineapple concoction mostly because I was into the aesthetics. But one of the sorbet flavors, lime, I realized was amazing. I know which drink I'm getting next time. They have little kids meals and a lot of drinks to choose from. Amazing view, and such a nice area. Couple of notes...closer trash cans and two out of three of us busted our knees on the stone benches. But that's a personal problem. It's definitely a great spot to grab something sweet and have a nice time on...

Location. Location. Location!

What a prime location. Right by downtown. On the "beach". Ton of free parking. Ton of scenic "seating".

I want the flan and the soapapillas....so I got the Mangonada and the Pina Colada. Both those ice creams tasted delicious and the presentation was on point. The service and speed were good too.

The seating at the ice cream place wasn't the cleanest but we were planning on seating on the bay anyway.

Either way, a solid spot to help with that sweet...
