Pizza was good, but not a good dining experience because of the hostile customers. I was eating with my mom and had a family seated behind my booth composed of parents and their teen kids. One teen kid repeatedly kept hitting my back with her purse and would apologize sarcastically ...When we tried to leave the restaurant the whole family got up and blocked our path. I continually stated "excuse me" and some moved slightly to the side to let us go by while others moved slowly ahead of us. To make matters more challenging the teens in that family decided they would block the exit to the restaurant as we tried to exit. The parents did nothing to correct their kids and I had to state " excuse me" several times before the teens who were just standing in front of the exit doors blocking the exit of the restaurant would move to the side to let us exit...It was even more disappointing that no employee from the restaurant stepped in to help us exit because these teens were deliberately preventing us from leaving a hostile environment. Employees were behind the counter and around the dining area and could visibly see the situation but stood as simple bystanders and did nothing, much like their parents. Sadly, this wasn't the first time I have encountered hostile customers here...the difference of then and now ...is that before it wasn't as extreme...and I tried to see it as a specific incident...but after this visit I realized it is completely unsafe to dine here because no employee will protect its customers and no citizen will step in to stop customers from victimizing others...this business lacks in providing a safe environment for its...

Add an answer publicly Carolina Castaneda Edited · in the last week So today we came to dinner after a weekend of birthday fun for my niece but I was so disappointed in the way they handled a mistake that they made. I had a simple order it was the ultimate meal deal for $56.99 which included 2 large pizza's, 8 piece chicken and large mojo's....then we ordered a side 10 piece chicken strips for the kids.....the girl taking the order completely misunderstood.....they replaced our order of 8 pieces chicken with the strips instead of giving us our regular order of chicken.....when I went to show them the mistake they made, they brought us our 8 piece but still charged me almost $20 more for the mistake they made and our bill was over $100.00 already because we ordered other things. I'm so pissed and disappointed at their service and the way they handled it! Helpful?

And near the end....I was sitting with my older niece, she was showing me how to do reviews and the waitress came to clean the table and she overheard us and went to tell the manager that I had written a review....the manager came back to confront me about the review....I told him it was done and that I was done talking to him and he continued to argue with me about "giving"me free food....I told him I wanted nothing from them but that the way he originally handled it was already bad enough! He still continued to argue with me for a good...

I had to doc one star from the score as the restaurant made the mistake of leaving cheese on a pizza we asked for no cheese for. However the staff was friendly and polite and replaced that pizza which was originally a nine inch to a large, cheese-less pepperoni pizza for no extra charge. Their willingness to please the customer when they make mistakes encouraged me to give them a good score. Although this location is an inconvenient drive for us we have found an excellent pizza replacement for our old preferred pizza place. We may buy pizza here again it was very tasty. We recommend going with pan crust and the seasoning, sauces, and well cooked meats and pepperoni made for a delectable treat for the whole family. The cooking was transcending the limits of what normal pizza tastes like. Shakey's brings a phenomenal clash of good flavors, a well respectable staff, and a kind and cleanly atmosphere. Their response to the Covid-19 pandemic is admirable and they deserve all the good business that comes their way in the future. God...
