Oh my Crumbl Cookie has it going on! These cookies are about as big as the palm of my hand! When you walk into the store the smell is sweet from the sugar and you could smell the cookies baking! There are a couple of ordering stations that are closed right now because of Covid! They are also limiting people in their store to 2-3 at a time I believe the sign in the front door said. Also masks are required.
They have a different cookie menu every week which is kind of cool. They also have an app and curbside pick up which seemed pretty popular. We waited for the one customer who was ahead of us to exit the store then we went in and ordered when we wanted. We ordered 2 chocolate chip which is always on the menu, 1 churro and 1 animal cookie! The cookies warmed and were packaged in a pure little pink box. We also decided to get ice cream. When we got home 1/2 later we put the ice cream in the freezer for later and saved the cookies for after dinner.
After dinner we both had the chocolate chip cookie and the ice cream. The cookie was soft and HUGE! It tasted pretty good. We had s'mores ice cream and salted caramel. In our opinion the s'mores ice cream was kind of grainy from the graham cracker but had good flavor otherwise. The salted caramel was our favorite. The caramel was soft and it was throughout the container of ice cream.
The next night hubby and I shared the churro and the animal cookie! Both were really good but my preference would be the animal cookie! They were both still soft and crumbly even though they were now a day old! The churro one has cinnamon and sugar sprinkled over the frosting and the animal cookie one had a frosting and sprinkles over an animal cookie.
It's about $4 a cookie so not super cheap but they are also a big gourmet cookie so the price is pretty accurate for a cookie imo. The ice cream price was kind of a lot for how much get imo.
The staff was very friendly and explained things as that was our first time here.
It's a good and different dessert place. I can't wait for the Twix cookie to come back around as I want to...
Read moreI recently visited Crumbl Cookie and wanted to share my experience with you. I ordered a 4-pack, but unfortunately, there was no positive experience to take away from the evening.
The lady at the register handed me the box before I could even finish paying, and upon checking my cookies in the car, I noticed that one of them had hardly any frosting on it. I went back inside and asked them to make me one that looked like the one in the display case, but the woman gave me attitude and all of the options they found were severely under-frosted.
To make matters worse, when I got home, I discovered that two of the other three cookies were wrong. I had to go back to the store and ask them to fix the problem, but the woman in charge threw the incorrect cookies on the ground out of frustration. The manager seemed to be intimidated by the employee and was not much help.
Overall, my experience at Crumbl Cookie was very disappointing. I do not recommend this establishment, as there are many other options in Covington for late-night...
Read moreOK let's just start by saying I love crumbl. Are some flavors not my thing? Sure. I have my favorites tho and check the lineup every week. I look forward to it! I had never had any issue until recently. I ordered 2 4 packs one was a gift and one for me it was a few weeks ago when they had the blossom cookie which is peanut butter with fudge on top, they just left the fudge off both 4 packs which really sucked. I thought it just got missed off mine and I looked in the other box and they completely left it off that one too. Super bummed out, and that doesn't seem like just an oversight. I don't know if they were just out of fudge or what, but had I known I would just be getting a plain pb cookie I would have ordered the other cookie I wanted to try! I went back the next week for strawberry shortcake which I knew I would love and they didn't put any fresh strawberries on the cookie like shown, NONE! Come on! When youre paying 5 bucks a cookie and not getting what's advertised it really is disappointing. 2 weeks...
