Never been to this Popeyes in Covington but I will describe an experience there that now shapes my opinion of how things are ran there. This past Monday between 3-4 pm, my mom stopped in to pick up some food to go for my Dad.Like everyone else there, she placed her order and waited for it to be done. While she was waiting for her food, a group of young guys (early 20's) came into the restaraunt and placed their order as well. As the "boys" waited for their food, they became inpatient and began harassing some of the employees as well as the store manager to hurry up with their food. Giving into their request, the store manager unfairly had their orders made ahead of everyone else's including my Mom's order. So my mom goes up to the register while the group of young dudes where there and simply asked one of the store employees how soon would her order be done and one of the dudes took upon himself to try and intimidate her as well tell her "fk you." My Mom tells the pathetic excuse for a man to watch his mouth and he replies "whatever, fk you you old a* bh." Being the type of person my mother is, she stood her ground and tells the dude "fk you too." While the ignorant fool and my Mom continue to hurl insults at each other, the store manager sit back and does nothing. It was bad enough the manager skipped over the customers that were waiting on their orders just to get those idiots out of the store, but the manager used poor judgment by allowing those dudes stay in the restaraunt and harass the employees as well as other waiting customers. The police should've been called immediately once they began making a scene and threatening other people as it could've led to more detrimental circumstances. I may be biased in my opinion, obviously because it was my Mom who was on the receiving end of a barrage of insults. Regardless of whether it was my mom or a complete stranger that it happened to, nobody should have to put up with that while they are simply trying to get food and I know for a fact that if I was there with her that idiot wouldn't have even opened his mouth. Flat out! Another reason I am still irate about this situation is that my mom is a diabetic with high blood pressure and there's no question that her blood pressure was through the roof due to dealing with that idiot. My advice for anyone looking to dine here is that if you want to place an order, have your order skipped over, experience harassment from unruly customers all while the store manager does nothing, come here!! If you have any dignity or self respect and simply just want to get some good food dont step one foot in this...

I typically visit Popeye's once or twice a week. Usually at this location in Covington on the way home from work. The service has been getting progressively worse each time to where I've decided not to ever go back.
On this last visit, I pulled up to the drive thru order board and the lady was very friendly and asked what she could get for me. I told her a 12 piece mild, chicken only. She told me that it would be $19.07 (that is the correct price counting tax). I thanked her and waited for the line to move. I ended up having to wait about 20 minutes even though there was only one vehicle ahead of me.
When I finally got to the window to get my food, a different woman came to the window and said loudly, "You got two combos and two sides" or something like that. Definitely not what I had ordered. I replied, "I just ordered a 12 piece mild chicken only". She turned around all in a huff and went to the other side where they fill the orders and grabbed a different bag and brought that to the window. She then exclaimed, "That will be $23" (and some odd cents. I said, "It should be $19.07. She then yelled and said," But you ordered six biscuits too!" I told her that I only ordered chicken and she yelled to one of her coworkers, "You come and talk to him! He's taking an attitude!" At that point, I left.
If informing her that I didn't order biscuits was taking an attitude (and I never raised my voice at all), then I don't want to support this kind of business. This franchise needs a thorough reworking. I have put up with very long wait times many times before at this location, but I'm not going to put up with people getting my order wrong twice and then yelling at me and then saying I have an attitude when I just told them what I actually ordered. Again, the first lady on the speaker was nice and quoted me the correct price so I know she took the...
Read moreLet me pretense by saying I am extremely polite and understanding of fast food workers as I have been there myself. So what happened was the woman at the counter was very rude after giving me the wrong order and insisting it was what I ordered. After showing her and another employee the receipt, it took approximately 15 minutes to produce my order. When she finally dropped my meal on the counter, she mumbled B-A** cracker as she walked away. I calmly said excuse me? (several other people waiting heard her say it) She responded with "What? you got another f* problem?" I smiled and said, apparently you do, and asked for the manager. After speaking with the "manager" outside, I discovered that my biscuit had a bite taken out of it and the tenders were fried so hard you could hardly break them in half (no telling what else they did to my food). I went back in and demanded my money back and was told by the "manager" that since I had left the building, they could not refund my money, which is complete BS. I left the "food" on the counter and walked out as the "manager" and counter woman yelled vulgar racial slurs at me. Disgusting and infuriating. I was very close to calling the police and I probably should have. Either way, I will never step foot inside another popeyes ever again. Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had at any business. DO...
