They have a very large variety of whiskeys, ranging from the readily available to the hard to get. It's a great place to go if you want to "try before you buy" a particular brand of whiskey, or if you just want to sample something that you may have heard about. Their pours are reasonably priced, and their spirits menus are extensive. Yes, a pour of the rare whiskeys can be on the expensive side, as would be expected, but they are not excessive. In addition, their bartenders are quite knowledgeable, very engaging, happy to answer questions, or just talk about spirits - the drinking kind, not the supernatural kind ;-). They make great cocktails as well. This all makes for a very enjoyable experience overall, whether you are a novice or a whiskey connoisseur. Absolutely loved my experience at this fantastic bar! The service was top-notch, and the drinks were simply divine. We stopped in after a company holiday party. We had a larger group and still received excellent service despite our size. Dan, Frank, and Chris were the real stars of the show, making our visit an absolute delight.

Their expertise in mixology was evident in every sip. Whether it was a classic cocktail or a creative, off-menu concoction, they nailed it every time. The attention to detail and the passion they put into crafting each drink was truly impressive. Plus, their friendly demeanor and willingness to engage with patrons made the whole experience even better.

Excellent hand crafted cocktails by experienced bartenders is Wise guy's number one draw. Upstairs from a really solid pizza joint they bring some class and creativity to the local drinking scene. Smoked rosemary whiskey sours, fizzes and flips, espresso martinis, all made with extreme care. Not sure what you want? Just ask and get some really solid advice based on your taste profile. They have a creative menu and all of the classic cocktails along with an excellent bourbon and whiskey selection. You can get some passable NY style pizza downstairs and bring it up if you need a bite. There is also a nice heated patio.
