This was my second visit. The first time I ordered the Cobb salad after making sure it came with romaine lettuce. It arrived made with a spring mix and was served in a lovely-looking bowl that you couldn’t possibly mix your salad in. I sent it back asking for romaine and a more user friendly bowl. The server was great and the second try was just what I wanted. So when I went back today and wanted the same Cobb salad I first asked about the lettuce. The server said it was romaine and I asked if she could check to be sure. She went to the kitchen and came back reporting that the chef confirmed that romaine lettuce was used. So imagine how disappointed I was to find a spring mix instead of romaine! And in the same awkward bowl that’s great for an instagram post but challenging if you actually want to eat the salad. The manager ended up getting involved and I was told the chef thought I wanted the lettuce blend that included some romaine, but would certainly remake the salad with just romaine. I was with a group of 5 and it took some time to finally get my salad. I made it clear that this same issue occurred at my last visit. Other than an apology and a thank you for giving them a second chance there was nothing offered to make me consider a third try—no free dessert or drink or discount. I try to support local businesses but this place is 0 for 2 as far as I’m concerned. I won’t be going back and won’t...
Read moreI always leave honest reviews so if you are really interested please read to the end. My husband said I should have been a restaurant critic. The restaurant is clean and spacious. If the bathroom is clean, which it was, then so is the kitchen. It was quite spacious so you didn’t feel like you are on top of the table next to you. The food was great. The fish and chips were lightly breaded but crunchy and the inside was not dry. Yum! The lobster macaroni and cheese was tasteful and creamy. The lobster was real not imitation crab meat like at some places. The chicken entree and Cobb salad were great as well. We made reservations and were promptly seated. It was our waitress’, Kaitlyn, second day but she was very friendly and quick. The owner Shweta made sure to check on our table of six to insure we enjoyed our dinner. Oh London is a new restaurant and although we had no issues at all and will definitely be back, remember that there are a lot of moving parts and it takes a little time to fine tune a new restaurant. My friends and I are sure you will enjoy yourself so give it a try. Thank you Oh London for great homemade food rather than pre-made. Can’t wait to...
Read moreWhen we walked in, we noticed the quiet, spacious and airy room. It had a relaxing vibe. The menu seemed to have some nice choices with very expensive prices. The fish and chips was a huge disappointment! The fish was haddock which is a cheap farm raised fish. The planks looked like frozen fish put in an air fryer. The skirt steak tasted sour and possibly spoiled. The smoked wings appetizer was meaty and had a nice BBQ sauce. The brisket sandwich had tender and flavorful brisket, but it was served on a plain bagel which was a very odd bread to use so that each bite was mostly bread with little meat. The burger was delicious with a fried egg on it. All in all the food was seriously subpar for our after tip price of $200. Four of the six of us drank water with the other two having iced tea. We left feeling totally ripped off. Edit: upon further research I found that I was mistaken about the haddock. It is a typical fish used in fish and chips. The preparation was underwhelming and looked like frozen air fried fish sticks without the typical beer batter. The fish itself was probably a fine fish. Culver’s does a better job with their beer...
