I'm not quite sure how this restaurant has 4.7 stars. We loved the concept they use here with giving back and saw the ratings so we thought we'd check it out for a business trip. We made advance reservations for 30 people, they had our tables ready when we got there, however things just seemed to go downhill after that.
We ordered simple appetizers, 4 charcuterie boards for the tables. When I'd asked the server what came on them, he didn't know. It took almost 45 minutes to bring them out. What?! The boards were super simple and it could've made them all in 5 minutes. 90% of our guests disliked what was on the boards as many of the things they'd never seen or tasted before, these boards are definitely designed for a more refined palette with white fish, salmon, patte, confeit, etc.
Then after our boards we waited and waited and waited. Please keep in mind ad you may be thinking "of course it was a long wait, you had 30 people with you," it was a fixed menu so there were only 3 dishes to choose from. After an hour and a half of our group, now getting hangry, we had to speak to the lead waitress and tell her we'd be leaving if we didn't get our food within the next few minutes. They said they were plating now but they chose to serve all the smaller tables at the restaurant first to get them out of the way. I'm sorry, what?! If we had a 6:30 reservation, you don't serve the 8pm reservation first!
When we finally got the food, many orders were incorrect, people never received their salads, some asked for no bacon on their dishes due to dietary restrictions but it came with, etc.
In general the main courses were okay. I personally had the fried chicken with honey biscuit, greens and mashed potato. My greens were TERRIBLE I could not eat them and my biscuit was doughy and under cooked. The chicken and mashed were very good (those two things are what helped this rating get 3 stars.)
After dinner everyone was fed up and restless here, we asked for the check. Then dessert came out, oh, because they asked some of the tables (before we ate anything, for dessert orders, very weird.) Half the tables had just booked it out due to frustration over the entire meal which just left the others to eat their pre-ordered desserts for them. I tasted the ice cream with coffee and flourless chocolate cake, both were good.
When our bill came, it was not right. We had to spend 10 minutes walking through the things they charged us for and never brought to the table (salads, add-ons, etc.)
This place was not worth the money for the food and service we received. Go...

Right in the heart of downtown. Free valet so if you’re in a rush, no worries.
This restaurant has a unique story behind it which is what I loved the most. What a way to give back without depriving oneself of well deserved gains as well.
I wondered why the food took a lil while to come out but hear me out or rather read me out. That chicken, to be fried chicken, could not be any juicier. They made our food with love it made no sense 😋. All the flavors engulfed in every bite omg. I was trying to make sense of what I was eating and I just couldn’t. All I know is I couldn’t stop eating. The steak my partner had was cooked properly, tender and tasty. The potatoes were actually soft.
The staff is so polite and courteous which stood out to me. You’re treated with care like a valued customer.
Finally the last thing that was unique is getting a whole bottle of wine as they do not sell it by the glass. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either. It made so much sense to have a bottle here and it works.
Options are beer and wine. No hard liquor
I recommend if you’re wanting a unique experience from a restaurant in the heart of...
