I’ve lived and worked in this building for the past 4–5 years and, up until recently, had a very positive experience. The onsite security and valet staff have always been respectful, helpful, and professional.
Unfortunately, my final experience was disappointing and unacceptable. During my office move-out, property within the building was damaged while movers were relocating furniture. Instead of addressing the issue responsibly, Jason Laurence responded with sarcasm, dismissive remarks, and no willingness to take accountability or help resolve the situation.
After reaching out to Christen Piazza for assistance, I was met with further unprofessionalism. She was notably rude and made it clear that the building would not be taking any financial responsibility for the damage.
To complicate matters, the building is now claiming that the move was not properly scheduled, even though the management company has confirmed that it was. At this point, I’ve been left with no choice but to escalate the issue and file a claim in small claims court, where a judge will ultimately decide responsibility.
It’s incredibly disappointing to have this be the closing chapter of my time in the building.
