I Will be in today with The Dallas Police Department for Assault. At 3:50 am. Your Window cashier knocked the pizza out of my hand hitting me and Cursed me out the entire time !! I've never ever dealt with that experience in my entire life !! especially being a chef and even the now sou chef for Smoky Rose located in front of the Dallas arboretum . When asked the cashier "Why" they didn't accept the cash he proceeded to knock the pizza out of my hand hitting my hand in the process cursing me out and threatened me then the other employees ganged up on me i was literally surrounded by 3 men who at this point didnt care about their jobs or where we were even at i literally felt as if i was in a bar about to get jumped !.They even unlocked the doors stepped out of the restaraunt just too surround me ! Imagine how i felt at 4:00 am in the dark surrounded by 3 other guys no matter how mad i felt or in the wrong they were there was nothing for me to do but shutup pick up my food from the floor and run away they kept my change and everything i will be back with the police department expecting this employee to be terminated ASAP and actions taken with the other employees i will also be taking legal actions . I will be back and asked to be shown the security footage with the managers this is un acceptable and I literally felt in danger for my for life. Never in my life did I expect to experience this let alone be ganged up on by a bunch of young men looking for a fight at one of my used too be favorite pizza spot in Dallas considering I've been a 5 year customers repeatedly coming to 4...

If you have any special changes/requests- this is not the place for you. We were really excited to try Zalat for the first time. I ordered 4 pizzas, one with vegan cheese and wanted one pepperoni pizza with no cheese. There is no option on the website to add notes or no cheese- which is standard every where else we order pizza as I have a child who does not eat cheese. So I called and spoke with someone who told me that they would watch for my order that I was about to place in that moment and I should note in the delivery instructions (as there are no other places to list special instructions) as a safe guard after telling them which pizza would be without cheese. Done. Pizza arrived, after paying an additional $4.99 for vegan cheese, that pizza came with no cheese and the one designated with no cheese had cheese. Unfortunately, the no cheese pizza was the only one we really needed ASAP for my youngest kid who needed to eat and get to bed. So when I called, they offered to remake that pizza if we could come pick it up, which wasn't an option for us. So they then had me speak to yet another person and explain all over again then said "well, I guess I can ask my manager if they want to issue a refund for one of the pizzas" (though 2 were wrong) and after sitting on hold for a LONG time, I finally just hung up. I don't know what the deal is, the pizza that was correct was great and we were excited to have a new option with vegan cheese for our dairy-free family members but we can't waste time on this kind of customer...
