Chip's Old Fashioned Hamburgers — Restaurant in Dallas

**Update- first time we were here, we dined in. And I didn’t mention that they didn’t add the avocado I asked for because I asked for it when I noticed it was missing and they brought it to the table.

I went a second time, for take out, and I asked for the exact same thing- and yet again no avocado, I was pretty disappointed since I was home and had no avocado to add. But also, cause we paid for it and there was no avocado in it. For this reason I am removing a star. ** 11/22/22

First timers! And we received good service and really GOOOOD BURGERS! & Something about these tater tots too! 😋 Took some from my husbands plate.

We both got the 1/2lb beef burgers - they were excellent.

I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting a good burger. And we will be coming back to try other items off their menu.

Lastly- Before we left, we decided to get their vanilla milkshake & it was good, just had a little after taste that I couldn’t quite figure out. Not sure if I enjoyed it or not. Also, it had more of an ice cream consistency- making it hard to...

Every time I’ve come to this location the restaurant side has been amazing. Today after the Mavs game, my husband and I sat on the bar side, and it was utterly DISAPPOINTING. The bartender walked up, sat menus down and rushed back to behind the bar to finish EATING HIS FOOD. Then he takes our order, my husband orders a blue moon beer, nothing fancy, the bartender proceeds to take two other tables who came in after us, their blue moons. My husband had to go to the bar and ask the guy for his beer. When our food came, I asked for a seedless bun for my turkey burger, and what do I get.. a BUN FULL OF POPPY SEEDS. Never once did he ask if we needed a refill On beers or waters. As previous waiters, we both OVER tip when we go out, today we literally left exact change to reflect the HORRIBLE SLOPPY service...

Waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to take my order. The woman seemed too busy to listen to me and messed up my order. Not impressed with the service at all. Ordered an egg to be added to my burger, for which she didn't add. She was very rushed and wasnt helpful at all. Not a fan of paying more for using a credit card, but this is the norm here. The drinks taste a bit funny, using South Dallas water unfiltered. I'd give to give a review of the food, but it's been 19 minutes since I placed my order, so I've effective waited 29 minutes at the restaurant and still haven't recieved my food. Wondering if this is the norm. Update: my burger was completely wrong. Asked for a refund for which it took another 5 minutes to get my money back. Don't visit this place. Waisted half my lunch today...
