Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Dallas

I will give a review on this site since there is people that are actually reviewing this place. First of all I would like to say for any parents that are letting their teenagers work at this kind of places try to give them a little advise if this is their first time working. Our kids don't have to feel pressured and intimidated by anybody. I understand they will be nervous just like anybody would. But not taken for granted!! There's a Lady Manager at this location her name is "MINERVA" she hired my she worked all day Friday and was told this was training and she wasn't getting paid for it then she schedule her to work on Saturday had her work from 11:00 am to 10:00pm as the day went by my daughter herd her talking about her saying that she was forgetting some stuff. It was her 2nd day. I believe as manager is one of your new employees is forgetting something you should tell them not talk behind her back. What kind of manager are you? That is very unprofessional and at that she wasn't told or explained what she had to be doing she just threw her in there and I guess learn as you go. Anyways my main concern is some teenage kids don't know how to speak up for themselves and this is going in there and not even letting parents know what is going on. After my daughter working Saturday and she heard her talking she was like this is not for me so she talked to "Minerva" and told her she appreciated the opportunity and giving her a chance of working there but she wasn't suitable for this job that she wouldn't be coming back. She asked her if she would be getting paid for that day she responded yes to come on Sunday and pick up her check. She comes in Monday to Pick up her check and she is told she didn't get a check cause she was short on that day. I asked my daughter did someone count your till when you started cashiering she said NO that's the first no-no. I asked her before you talked to Minerva that day before leaving did you count the till she said "No" again that's another no-no. How does she really know if she was short or not? and then to tell she didn't get a check because she was short. That's another no-no its against the law for an employer too do that. She made her sign a form my daughter not knowing what she was signing and it said that she had to even on her money or its going to be deductive from her check. I told my daughter if that was the case how come she didn't call you to let you know. She said she didn't know. I will be contacting the owner cause this is a Franchise and it s not owned by corporation cause I already started doing my checking. Parents please tell your kids specially if it is money count your money before and after to make sure what...

Overall summary of this place is: STINGY. Coming in I asked for a personal pepperoni and jalapeno. Because there was half of one already out I got told I couldn't get the personal. The employee helping me helped me out and told me if I got another topping he could make me one. Which makes me think management has rules that he was following. Also I asked for the whole thing but I got half even tho I said I would eat the whole thing. Already annoyed at this point when I notice my wife, who the only thing she eats is pasta and marinara sauce. The sauce was watered down af. It did not look like sauce like I've seen at dozens of cici's elsewhere. I can only describe it as tomatoe water. Void of any flavor. Mind you my wife asked for a plate of it because that's all she eats. Which she got no problem the first time but when I went up to get her seconds, while a guy was grabbing me a plate his manager stopped him and she told me they can only do the small bowls. As if she was judging me thinking me and my wife were eating too much. MOVE THERE. I had to ask for 2 bowls. Which the guys gave me no problem. Flat out. The management here is taking steps to cut back on cost and it is affecting my experience. Made me stop and check if cici's was still a BUFFET. BUT APPERENTLY OVER HERE ITS NOT CAUSE THE MANAGER IS TAKING EVERY STEP SHE CAN TO STOP ME FROM EATING MY FILL. Will never come back here. Any cici's is better than this one. She wouldn't even give us more than 2 parmesans when I asked for more. I asked for bacon on personal but got told they can't do bacon unless we buy the pizza as if it was a togo order. I went back to this location on today the food was horrible and it was packed with High School kids and they were playing around the salad bar it was over 100 kids inside which was a fire code because they didn't have enough seats for them to sit so they was walking around eating standing up even the school staff I told the Hispanic women at the front that they was playing at the salad bar and she gone say what trying to act like she didn't understand me so I repeated myself and the police officer came in and said what's going on in here so she just stand there like she didn't know what was going on so my hubby and I got our cups and my receipt and went to grab something to eat and the workers had dry pizza and bread sticks sitting out we didn't get any fresh pizza just wasted our money we ate two slices of pizza unfresh and walk out my husband said we will never ever come back to this location again I don't know what was the purpose of her calling the police because she had to call them but if you call the police make sure that you tell them what you called for Im so sick of this location because they only carter to Hispanic people and they have bad attitudes and they play to much in the kitchen they just cook and don't communicate with each other's I noticed that every food place that they're working at is going down because of their attitudes and discrimination and lack cooking skills this is the reason why Pancho's went out of business in this area I love everyone and believe that everyone deserves to be...
