Service and all is fine, but the freshness is lacking, one would think they were made yesterday evening/last night and left to sit in the case until this morning. I got a Jumbo Jalapeno Sausage and some Donut Holes. The Jumbo Sausage was kind of dry and lacked that fresh soft texture of the beading. There is usually a better choice down the street at Coit and Spring Valley (which has the freshest and softest donut holes and rolls I have ever had), but they hadn't made their holes yet. The best donuts in the area. I've been visiting every donut shop near me slowly expanding my search outward to try to find a truly excellent donut. Well this is it, I'm done looking. It's 3 miles away and I drove past 3 other donut shops to get here, but these donuts are worth the drive. Their donuts are thicker than most, and don't taste too greasy like so many other small shops tend to. The glazed in particular really stand out. Under different management, this was our local donut shop for years. Unfortunately, that has changed. New management has chosen not to accept the recommendations from our President and the CDC to not require masks for those of us that have chosen vaccination.
