Fun, flavorful menu choices at this establishment!!!! I was looking for something new and different. Boy did I find it. Located off of Dallas Parkway in Addison Texas, this restaurant screams fun and tasty. The decor is all egg themed and for those of you old enough to know, the booths resemble Mork from Ork’s egg pod spaceship. There were just too many menu choices to choose from, so I decided to play it safe and ask my waitress for her recommendations. She explained that the egg daddy sandwich is the best seller amongst their sandwiches. She also suggested I pair it with the Truffle Hash Browns. The sandwich itself is a sausage patty, applewood smoked bacon, a hash brown patty, american cheese, a chalula chipotle sauce topped with an egg cooked over easy and served on a brioche bun. The truffle hash browns are shredded hash browns formed into patties and served with a garlic flavored oil and truffle cream sauce. The first bite of the sandwich stirred up a couple different thoughts in my head, the first being uh oh, I didn’t ask for extra napkins. The second thought being damn, this sandwich is really tasty. So I put any thoughts about the napkins to the back of my head and just decided to roll with it. This kind of made my experience a little more enjoyable. The truffle hash browns definitely complimented the sandwich well. The combination of the garlic oil and truffle sauce really brought these hash browns up to next level. Once I finished the meal, the waitress brought me my check. As an added bonus she thru in a couple of wet naps. They really thought of everything here. I was impressed. The food was not that expensive either. All in with 20% gratuity, my meal was $23 and some change. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely! It’s fun, it’s fresh and it’s definitely a must try! I will be coming back!!! My score, I give egg daddy a 4.36...
Read moreToday was the first time I visited Eggdaddy, and I have nothing but positivity to share. For starter the way to order is very convenient. There are 3 screens as you walk in , and you place your order off the menu.
The ATMOSPHERE itself was very nice as the entire restaurant is egg themed. The salt and pepper shakers are egg-shaped and two of the booths inside and egg, and there's egg like decor everywhere.
The FOOD was incredible. The pictures below show their Keto bowl, which includes egg, bacon, sausage, spinach, and cheese. This was very flavorful, satiating, and definitely a great carb free option. Another item was the avocado toast. The toast had avocado spread, sour cream, an egg cooked to your liking, some herbs to flavor, and what seemed to tasted like a hint of lime. This was delicious, BUT for someone of my size, it was a small portion. The third item is the motherschmucker, and yes, as you can imagine, it is basically a dessert sandwich. No complaints though! You have bacon, strawberries, berries, almonds, honey, peanut butter, and jelly, all sitting nice and comfortably between two waffles. I don't think I have to tell you how good this was.
The SERVICE was incredible. Not only was the staff very friendly and offered to answer questions, but they also went a step above for us. My brother mistakenly ordered gluten free bread instead of waffles on his meal. He brought it up, and the staff was quick to offer waffles instead if that's what he initially wanted. My brother ended up getting a plate of 3 waffles on the side and when I attempted to pay for them (since you pay for all your food at the initial screen) the staff insisted that it was on the house for the mishap.
We were all very pleased and will definitely...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting the place since we heard so much about this place and the hype that was made unfortunately our experience was sour. We were a group of 5 with a toddler and were greeted with a server who barely had a smile on her face and her body language spoke volumes. Anyhow we ordered our food but she kept messing our order when repeating, I ordered a basic taco for my daughter with a set of extra hash brown and ordered myself the breakfast tex mex, my friends ordered their latte. Our drinks didn’t show up until we asked her 3-4 times and she brought them in a paper to go cup we were a little taken back as this is a dine in restaurant and the place certainly has cups we can see them on the counter so why give us this treatment. The food came and mine and my daughter’s order was mixed and so we were missing items also. When we pointed it out she gave us a cold shoulder and left us hanging with our order. We then called another server that was there not sure if he was the owner but definitely didn’t help us much instead I had to pay for an order that was brought wrong in the first place. Some of my friends did get some discounts but it’s not about the money it was more about the unpleasant experience we received that should’ve been corrected with an apology from the server. The food is great the ambiance is also nice but the last server definitely a turn off...
