THIS is where you want to have your wedding. Seriously.
No, you think brewery, scrunch up your nose... They have a beautiful space and our wedding was during TEXAS OU Weekend! We didn't hear a peep or get any issues from the bar adjacent!
We were put into contact with Boxwood Hospitality and paired up with the incomparable Ashley who helped us plan, organize, and execute our wedding which was mentioned by multiple friends and family as the BEST wedding they had been to! Ashley guides you through many options, gives clear direction and explanation and did so over the course of only TWO short meetings. She also recommended so many vendors, handled every issue that popped up leading to our big day and on the day of was a perfect shadow. Any little hiccups that came up she covered them immediately. Even when our Uber left for our big sendoff, she whipped out her phone, ordered another one and had a car waiting for us all without us even realizing the original one had left? I would not only recommend Ashley specifically and Boxwood, I would tell someone who ALREADY has one to fire them and hire her. Thank you for everything, you honestly have a place in our hearts helping us...
Read moreI'll start with the Good. We visited this brewery during the week and were surprised how many people there were four or five groups of people waiting for the Friday tour. We were all inside the small barroom where they serve all their beers on tap. Nice friendly, bright atmosphere with a large window for viewing the brewery itself. Because of the atmosphere I gave this place three stars.
However most the beer was not good except for the Barleywine(which btw is not sold in stores) and the honey bee. I could make excuses for the beer being that bad, maybe they just had the taps cleaned and that made the beer taste soapy . Maybe the beer was too young , or maybe just because most people won't question their beer quality for fear of being a buzzkill. Idk but there's no excuse for the beer being that bad. I know one other person commented that the beer wasn't good and they were right.
Next time I'm in Dallas I will try...
Read moreI went to follow my wife, who likes to try new beers; I don’t do alcohol so breweries are not the best place for me. This was different, they have some nice non-alcoholic options and good food. The care with beers’ description and knowledgeable, friendly personnel just made the experience totally unique. Clearly every person working here loves their job and does their best to give costumers the best experience possible while having fun with it. Bonus: they had the best Covid-19 counter measures I have seen so far; they clearly care about customers safety and well-being. The only bad side of it is that I was in Dallas only for 1 night and I won’t get to go there again. Hope people can enjoy this wonderful...
