I’ve never been so irritated to where I’ve went out of my way to write a review before and honestly I have a lot of customer service experience myself so I try to be understanding of people and their bad days. I don’t know who answered the phone for me, after having to call them too many times than I should have had to but it doesn’t make any sense that you should be talking to anyone that way. Honestly they must be hiring just anyone off the street to handle their restaurant because not even on my worse day have I ever been so rude to any customers (who probably deserved it more than I did) and whoever she is doesn’t have any excuse. Terrible customer service. And the crazy thing is I have never had Golden Chick before but a friend referred it to me and I thought I should try something new. But this location will not be getting a red penny from me because if their employees can’t even treat me with enough respect to professionally explain whatever is going on I definitely don’t trust them to professionally handle my food. Yikes. I don’t think she should be fired but some disciplinary action needs to be taken with how to handle customers should be given to her if anything. The whole point of your job is to provide somewhat decent customer service to the customers. If you can’t do that much just quit. If that’s not an option for you well get it together. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Don’t waste your time or your money. Only support businesses that at least give you enough respect as a customer and as a person. Highly disappointed because I was really hungry but I’d rather be hungry than deal with that.
Update: tried to give them one more chance, because maybe I was being too harsh the first time around, bad idea. This company can train a pack of wild monkeys and they’d probably do a better job than the staff they have now. Close down the whole store because there isn’t a point of them being open...
Read moreI'm really troubled by putting a negative review about my favorite place to get chicken from. I have been going to this location for years. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when I'm working in Denton I normally order the 20 tenders meal spicy. In the last 7 times of coming to this location. My order has been wrong every time. It's been from not having any sides. To the chicken being non-spicy 4 of the times. This evening on my way to work I stopped by the location. I was hungry for the spicy tenders so I ordered the 25 tender meal. The price on the Menu and the drive-thru was $46.89 the person taking my order said it was $49.99 I made Mention of the price on the menu on the drive-through. I was told I was wrong. I took a picture of the price. And showed it to the person at the drive-through window. I was told that's not the price ! And they are not going to change it. Do I want the food or not. And do to the negatively at the drive-through window I left the location and continued my 60 mile drive to work. And have thought about this all night long. About the fact that I drive 20 miles out of my way. Just to stop by this location. And will probably never be back. I understand my around $800 dollars a month. I spend at this location is a small amount. In the big picture of things. Tonight this restaurant is very clean excellent and employees are are very pleasant and I'm going to take a picture I gave him five stars thank you but i was at a table editing my notes and this manager asked me to leave while I was speaking to text I remember my earlier years in.evaluating talent that this manager has no room for relaxing a little bit. I did not say a word to her and left. I saw a double standard in customer service. Hopefully this is a one time flaw. The manager earlier earned the 5 stars.
