DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! It deserves a 0 star. Took us 45 minutes to get the snacks. The waitress came back a total of 5 times in 2 hours. Never refilled water. Not worth to spend your night. There were only 5 tables, too! 0 service whatsoever. We had to cook our food. Saw the waitresses talking to other tables and assistance other customers with cooking their food. We asked our waitress "are we supposed to cook our food?" she said yes. Then we asked "why is that waitress helping other tables and she's been there for almost 10 minutes?" Our waitress walked away. We've been to many korean bbq restaurants. Most of them helps on cooking the meat and ensure it doesn't burn or eating raw meat. Its important to identify the meat is fully cooked. So, if you don't know how to cook or identify the meat is cooked. Stay away from this restaurant! The owner is probably going to reply and apologize for the experience and hoping that we will come back according to the previous commands. No thanks. Train your waitress first. As you can see the on the photos. Our friend's cup of water is already empty and they just bought us the snacks. That glass was never refilled until the very end. We spent 2.5 hours in this service-less 4.7 star restaurant. Why is it 4.7? It does not deserve that rating according to our experience! Maybe we should have ordered dishes instead of the all you can eat. It's probably their strategy to save their food by providing 0 service. Friendly reminder my friends!! Don't waste your time here!

I originally called the restaurant to place a to go order. The person on the phone, who turned out to be the owner, then asked if I would like to pay for it over the phone. This was odd, because when ordering to go food, I have always paid for it when I got to the restaurant to make sure the food was prepared to my liking. As is common practice. I said no I did not. Once I got there was when they started cooking my food even though there was no one in the restaurant. The owner then took my payment and started making my food when I got there. This must mean that she thought I would not pay for my food and waited until I got there to start making my food. I was late to my appointment. the food was not as described. Also, the owner said that she would give me a side of kimchi. Which she did not. Do not go to this restaurant. Horrible food horrible service. The atmosphere as possible. But definitely not for the prices. They are charging. There are several other restaurants in town that do a superior job on every level. I have submitted a picture to show you what spending $45 looks like at the restaurant. Seated on a bed of onions is five pieces of meat. Again this cost $45. I 100% do not recomemd.

I could give Kim’s BBQ in Dallas more than five stars, I would! From the moment we walked in, Grace made the entire experience unforgettable. She greeted us with the warmest smile, and it wasn’t just a “hi, welcome” — it was genuine hospitality. Grace made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. The food was next-level amazing — every bite of the Korean BBQ was perfectly seasoned and cooked just the way we liked. Grace guided us through the menu like a pro, recommending her personal favorites, and she was spot-on every single time. Her attention to detail was unmatched — she kept an eye on our grill, made sure our side dishes were always full, and somehow anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. Grace has that rare gift of making you feel like you’re the most important table in the restaurant, even when the place is bustling. She was quick, attentive, and incredibly kind. Honestly, Grace is the reason we’ll be coming back to Kim’s BBQ again and again. If you’re in Dallas and craving incredible Korean BBQ, Kim’s BBQ is the spot — and if you’re lucky enough to have Grace taking care of you, prepare for an experience you’ll be telling your friends about for weeks.

Id give this place 0 stars if I could. I ate there yesterday with my girlfriend and WOW. I should've read the reviews first. The food was ok don't get me wrong. But the service was odd. Figures they charge you for bottled water 🙄 at least they don't hand out Dasani, but the fact that they give you so little with such a messy method of eating, we didn't get but 2 napkins and 2 tongs to use on a bunch of raw meats. Pork, beef, and chicken. The lady who I assume to be the owner, after our food hits the table I ask what it what. While explaining she proceeds to start cooking the pork belly. Which i have little experience cooking as I don't usually eat pork. But this meat is not thin and.... and the this lady proceeds to cook this pork for maybe 4 minutes total. 2 minutes max on each side, probably less thought and then slaps the pieces on our plate and tells us to try it. Foolishly we thought she knew what she was doing... or believed she wouldn't purposefully give us undercooked meat. If this woman is the owner you would think she would know how long to properly cook the meats and explain this to guests who may not be educated on such things. Then they rushed us by coming by and grabbing our tongs and dumping meat on the grill that we didn't want on there..... pretty sure you aren't supposed to cross contaminate with meats and what I saw was no consideration for this on their end. But hunger often gets the better of us. I can't believe I tipped them at all. And especially now after getting what I hope is food poising and not the contraction of potentially deadly parasites from the undercooked pork.... I would warn everyone to stay away from this place. Just make the drive to somewhere else. Not worth overpaying for food that's going to make you ill or give you...

Please do not go this place unless you like to waste your money for no reason.

I am a big fan of K-BBQ. This place gave me the worst experience ever.

Low quality compare to the price (Check the other pictures from other reviewer. [The marbling of meat] - nothing better than your local Kroger)

There is no grill management. No one in the store knows how to prepare and cook the meat properly. As I mention before, I am a K-BBQ fan, which means I know what should be going on my grill. The grill get burned up badly since they don't pre oil the grill. I get to see the servers spraying the grill with PAM. Never saw any K grill doing that before. and result of out come was surprisingly bad. They were burning the grill badly and making Benzo pyrene to create cancer in me.

Bad service. There were many empty tables, but I still get to wait about 20 mins My server was actually really nice. He was little overwhelmed since I went in there middle of busy hours. He took about 13 minutes to greet us. I knew he tried his best since he was running and sweating like crazy. I realized there was only 3 servers for 50+ tables. I was totally okay and actually was excited to be in the busy restaurant, until I heard the old Korean lady speaking in her language to my server. ( I speak Korean. She probably didn't know cuz I'm not korean). Let me write down what she said "Don't refill their banchans (sidedishes). They don't appreciate you doing that." I am a lady who truly love the korean banchan culture and i was shocked how they were thinking about customers. they were thinking we are just here to fill up our belly with refillable sidedishes.

Please everyone. We are consumers, sometime we don't get what we want for some reason, but I believe the owner's attitude shouldn't...

You are paying for trendy location, not authentic experience. Please do not let this place reflect on what true Korean BBQ is. Do yourself a favor and head to Carrollton or Royal Lane in Farmer's Branch.

They are clearly short staffed, we waited for two hours for our food. The waiter (who was not very pleasant) brought out a can of Pam and sprayed it all over the meat on our grill (I've had Korean BBQ many times before and I have never seen any where that would do such thing). He also never changed our grill once it got blackened. So customer service was pretty terrible overall.

As for the food, they make each person order a full portion or 2 half portions in order to get side dishes. So they basically upcharge by at least 3x compared to other Korean BBQ places in Dallas area. The side dish was also lacking in quantity. Major disappointment for our group, needless to say, we will never return.

Most KBBQ places are all you can eat, and banchan (sides) are included. It really seemed like they were trying to stiff the customers that do not know any better. Also a "Full" portion of shrimp is $29.99 for FIVE pieces. Five pieces of shrimp. And the coveted banchan that they demand the table order "full" portions of to recieve consists of sparse portions of:

Iceberg Lettuce A pinch of kimchi A communal bowl of rice Three pickled radish bites A tiny scoop of japchae

Do not bother asking them to refill any of these either. They take them away never to return.

Pricing and quality need to improve, and maybe limit the amount of customers until you can hire an appropriate number of staff. It's not fair to your employees or your customers and you can see it trickling over to the overall...
