So a few days ago I decided to try a new Ethiopian restaurant because it was closer to me , I stumbled across this place heard the food was good and you can see them cook your food the first try I ordered through Uber eats I always eat mines medium rare example picture on the right ( different restaurant) what I received was the picture on the left….. see the difference? So I gave them the benefit of the doubt maybe something happened so I did try to eat it the flavor was ok just tasted like regular ground beef, so I wanted to go in to the actual restaurant so me and my wife decided to take a drive we both ordered the kitfo hers was supposed to be raw and mines once again medium rare, we got the order drove home and opened the boxes to discover hers was mine and mines was cooked all the way, so I called to let them know I’ll be on my way to get a refund, we get there and get looked at up and down as if we did something wrong, told the lady I wanted a refund and she literally threw my money at me as if I was a dog, and told me it wasn’t fully cooked, so I’m guessing fully cooked is burnt my wife wanted to go over board but I didn’t want her to lose her positive energy, this is the worst place I’ve ever been will not recommend and will not return on top on that they charge $10 more than what I normally pay,(hint) that’s why they are in a small compacted place now , you can’t grow if you don’t have good...
Read moreThis place is a hit or miss and I have missed too many times now. Will no longer be wasting my time here it’s almost $30 for a veggie combo plus tip. sometimes it taste like it’s been sitting for days. Ethiopian cuisine to cook it fresh means the day of maybe the day before at worse to keep the integrity. When I called to speak to the lady about my order and how it did not taste fresh she was rude and said that she by law had seven days to sell the food. Ethiopian cuisine is a labor of love and there is no love or integrity behind seven day old food so I will be going elsewhere. Sheba number two in Richardson is a much better option and the...
