I really wanted to try this pizza, but was sorely disappointed. To be fair, we had a winter storm recently two days before I ordered. The roads were still snowy and slick with ice. I was looking for a place that was open and willing to deliver, and this seemed like the perfect place. This store is about 5 minutes away from my complex (in normal driving conditions), so I though this would be great for all of us: a short drive for the driver and a decent delivery time for me. That's not what I got, though.
I was quoted a delivery time of 50 minutes, which I understood and didn't complain about, HOWEVER, over 2 HOURS had passed, and I still didn't receive my order. The driver did call to reach out to me because he couldn't find where I stayed at (even though I put very detailed instructions when I placed my online order), but he couldn't speak ENGLISH. He sent me a text in English instead, asking for my exact address😑. That was the final straw. No way was I going to pay over $40 (and tip the driver $10 for a total of $50) for cold pizza from a place that is literally 5 minutes away. I ended up calling the store after 2 1/2 hours to cancel my order. The ladies were courteous and understanding and amply apologized.
Please make sure that your drivers know how to speak English. Everyone isn't required to know how to speak Spanish or any other language in this country, when the primary language here is English. I do appreciate the customer service, but I don't think I will be willing to try this...
Read moreWe placed our order via phone and made sure to ask if we could pay the delivery driver in cash. We were told, "Yes, no problem". Our total was $26 for one medium pizza. When the delivery driver showed up, we handed him $40 (2x twenties) expecting change back so we could give him a cash tip out of the change.
The driver then begins repeating, "No English, No English". He then tried to take the entire $40 in cash and drive away with it without giving us any change whatsoever. A medium pizza is not worth $40.
I literally had to run downstairs in my house slippers and stand in front of his truck to stop him.
While on the phone with the manager, we opened the box to find out that they didn't even bring us the pizza we ordered, there was something else entirely in the box. The manager began calling me a liar over the phone after I calmly explained the situation and then he accused me of slamming the door in the driver's face. Why would I slam the door on someone who owes me change?
Don't waste your time and money on this place, they are unprofessional and will literally try to steal your cash. There are hundreds of other pizza restaurants in the area, I recommend any one of those...
Read moreOooouuuuuu! I just found my Marco’s Pizza replacement 😩 I love Marco’s though but Big O’s is located super close to my residency, so it’s a no brainer. Not to mention the pizza so good, even the thought of sharing would make me bad. So if you order, just be certain to go Big. Ha pun intended.🤓
I obviously went one night before for pick-up 20 minutes before closing and tried to pay twice. Luckily, the staff led with integrity. So here I am a second time. Yes, it’s literally worth it. The house like salad is fresh and completes my need to pizza-n-chill.
Pull up! Hop out! Just call to place the order and on 15-20 minutes, you are back in the car devouring what was suppose to be dinner for the crew. Be certain to check the temperature on a smaller bite, the roof of your mouth can go missing, due to 3rd degree burns. I mean that’s how 🔥🔥🔥the pizza really is to me.
So go BIG or go home!!!!Or really just sit in the car and be happy eating a few slices in peace! Ha. And another one!
Like my puns, this pizza...
