Velarde Pizza and Daiquiris Togo — Restaurant in Dallas

This was my first time ordering from here, and while the food itself was actually decent, the customer service was unacceptable.

I ordered through Uber Eats and my churro cheesecake was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the young lady who answered was extremely dismissive. She didn’t apologize—just told me, “You didn’t order through us, so you’ll need to dispute it with Uber Eats,” and that was it. When I asked if I could come pick up the missing item or if anything could be done for the inconvenience, she repeated the same thing, but even more rude the second time.

What really sucks is that I Googled the location and it’s only 7 minutes from me. But now it’s a waste in my book—because they’ll never get my money again. I run a small business myself and I’ve never treated a customer like that, no matter how they ordered.

One of the best pizza joints I’ve had here in DFW. The pizza was flavorful, the customer service WAS AMAZING. The gentlemen handed me the pizza and gave me a free jalepeno ranch (WHICH IS TO DIE FOR) and he was right, it was amazing with my meat lovers pizza.

My significant other also got a pepperoni pizza and it was great too. The breadsticks were awesome and you can add on a topping, and to spoil us we got wings for later that night, and they were also amazing.

Hands down a great little hole in the wall place. 10-10 recommend, and it was all for 40$!! You can’t beat that! Unless you settle for some corporate place. I can’t speak highly of this place, and we 100% found out new pizza place for this football season, and more...

Its a Small hole in the wall restaurant but seriously the Pizza was full of flavor and cooked to perfection and The customer service was beyond great they make you feel welcomed and are very attentive to you even when waiting for your order to come out the oven. & Lets talk about those delicious Desserts they have the 3s leches cake & the cookies were AMAZING! the prices are great for what you get. cant wait to stop by again and take my parents especially knowing how hard it is for hispanic parents to try and communicate due to language barriers but since this is a hispanic owned restaurant that gives you that "family" type comfort im sure they will enjoy it just as much as my brother & i did.
