This place is a literal dream!!! The decor and atmosphere is top tier. Service was impeccable and food was delicious. Came on a Monday night for the “Taste of Léonie” and it was not very busy, so we were able to take plenty of pictures and even check out the little shop by the pool. This is the kind of place people dream of having lunch or dinner. For Primo, I ordered the hot honey & fennel ricotta - it was creamy with that delightful hint of sweet and spicy. My friend ordered the Caesar salad and it looked so creamy and crisp; she said it was one of the best Caesar salads she’s had. For Secondo, we ordered the 8oz HWD strip - it was good - not great. I ordered medium rare, but it was closer to rare (I didn’t mind too much and it still tasted good), but my friends was definitely more Medium well cooked. The strip had grit on one side of it, so I just cut that part off, but other than that, it was a good cut of meat and flavorful. I enjoyed the sunchoke purée with it - it was reminiscent of a chimichurri. The star of the show though - the Mille-Feuille!!!! The pistachio with the tart cherries and sweet sugar coated puff pastry - literally was on a way one ride to heaven. It was a flavor explosion on my tongue and I will be back specifically...

Overall, the afternoon tea experience has room for improvement. First the positives - valet service was friendly and efficient when I arrived with four other friends. Guidance to the Leonie, which is tucked by the pool and has nice views of Uptown, was done with ease and polish. Ambience was as delightful as it appears in the photos.

Service was somewhat inattentive. Our server Rodney did not walk us through the tea selections in detail and was unavailable for our questions about tea steeping. He reappeared to upsell us on champaign several times. When my water glass ran dry and I asked for it to be refilled, he said yes and never did.

Tea sandwiches were precariously perched on metal trays adjacent to the table, which required pivoting and using tiny tongs to lift. Inevitably someone dropped one on the floor.

Food overall was just ok compared to other high teas that I have had with the exception that the scones were well executed and showed good variety. The oddest sandwich was a bready pimento cheese with a small square of bacon on it. Desserts were so tall that one of them flopped over as seen in the photo.

All in all, a bit mystified on why D Magazine called it the hottest new tea in town as service and food were...

This is probably one of the best restaurants in the hotel. I was in a rush due to a time critical commitment I had and wanted to have a quick dinner before I can be on my way. I called up the restaurant via my hotel room and ordered the meal over the phone stating the time urgency. They confirmed it would be ready by the time I arrive which was like in 10-15 minutes from the time of order. As I arrived into the restaurant, the waiter knew I was in, brought the food in immediately and was courteous and pleasant to deal with. The whole experience was nothing short of exquisite. Upon finishing my meal which was absolutely delicious, possibly the best Grilled Salmon 🍣 I have had, the waiter was ready with the bill to be paid understanding the time criticality. I paid and was on my way to my meeting. Best experience ever. Thanks to the team here. Will definitely visit again and...

I recently dined at Leonie, and it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. Nestled on the 20th floor of a downtown Dallas hotel, the restaurant offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement its culinary delights. The CHICORY CAESAR and HWD BEEF TARTARE were simply divine, each bite bursting with flavor and freshness. But the true star of the show was the day dried striploin – an absolute masterpiece of tender, succulent perfection. The ambiance of Leonie is elegant yet inviting, creating the ideal setting for a memorable dining experience. From the impeccable service to the expertly crafted dishes, every aspect of our meal exceeded expectations. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Leonie is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine and stunning views in downtown Dallas. A five-star rating is well-deserved for this culinary gem
