Le Gourmet Baking — Restaurant in Dallas

Le Gourmet saves the day!!! We found Le Gourmet by happenstance and I'm so glad we did. After another bakery in town (who shall remain nameless!) closed its doors after I placed my order without letting me know, I was driving to another local bakery hoping for a miracle. With 24 hours notice, the second bakery said there was "no way" they could help us. We drove to the close-by Le Gourmet that we had noticed on our drive and the owner literally dropped what she was doing to assist this panicky bride before her engagement party to place my order and assure me she'd have the cookies in time for my evening party the next day. To say I was relieved and grateful was an understatement. Not only did Le Gourmet save the day by fulfilling our last minute order, but the shortbread cookies were SO phenomenal, there was not a SINGLE cookie left over! Becky was absolutely incredible! She was so sweet and accommodating on our rush order for an Open House launch party. She also gave me a tour of the church/ community building she operates from, which was so kind!! The cookies were delish and looked darling! We weren’t expecting the builder to also show up with cookies, but they looked adorable on a plate together. Once again, the best shortbreads ever were a part of our holiday meal! Such buttery delicious- ness! From our daughter’s wedding to Easter, to a little pick me up gift for a friend who lost her cat, these cookies are always a huge hit.
