Don't take this wrong - I hate places like this. Not because of any other reason other than I am sharing it with you. Truth. I would like to keep this one to myself, bring friends and family here, and not tell another soul. But I can't. It is that good. I had heard some rumors, seen it in passing a few times. Thinking to myself, "Do I really need to go in there?". I am glad I did. Greeted right away by a cheerful smile, we selected our table and began to eagerly think about the food. We had seen tacos advertised at $2.00 with the exception of Birria and one other that were just a bit more. That was my intent....tacos. but then the menu sat in front of me, inviting to be opened. It caught my eye - the mole enchilada. Yep. My downfall. It stated that the mole was house made. I was hooked, I needed it. We'll that and a chicken taco. In all the chicken, pastor, and birria tacos were ordered alongside the mole enchilada. I recommend them all, just knowing that the pastor will be a little dry, not my favorite, but delicious still the same. My lone chicken taco was fruitlessly nibbled on. It came home with us, it wasn't needed. Everything else was consumed and it filled us. I was expecting what some other places call an enchilada: small, flat, and lacking of any filling. Not here. They were stuffed and the sauce was one of the best I have ever had. It wasn't long after starting the enchiladas that I knew my taco would be heading home with me as I was already getting full. I had even put some of there table spice on the rice, not that it was needed, but to check out the heat and taste. Did not disappoint on either of those as well. They have the good ice, small chucks. You know what I mean. Service was excellent. Food served quickly, but with enough time to enjoy the seemingly fresh salsa with the chips. I truely recommend this place, but don't take my spot as I may become a...

The place was empty, but it was a bit early for the dinner crowd. Not exactly high demand either tho. The birria tacos w/ consomĆ© are excellent. The birria burrito is tasty if you leave off most everything but the birria, beans and cheese. The only mention of Happy Hour on the menu is the House Margarita, which tasted exactly like Crystal Light Lemonade. No hint of tequila at all. I asked the server if that was the only Happy Hour item, and he said yes. So after ordering, and reading reviews about how good the Happy Hour was, I asked him what was so good about it. He then said it included mostly food, as in the tacos, but only the ala cart tacos. Not the taco plate that we just ordered. Also discounted is ā€œModelosā€, but apparently only Modelo Especial, not the Modelo Negro that we just ordered. Note that there is no actual Happy Hour menu at the door or table, but he showed us one from the back counter. I didn’t appreciate the deceptivenessat all....

I ordered lunch from Mama's today for the first time; A chimichanga served with rice & beans. The young man at the register was very helpful explaining things as I navigated the menu. I had many questions and he answered each one cheerfully! I loved the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant as I waited on my order. The music, the plants, the sports on TV... It was a quick wait. When I got back to the office and opened my order the first thing that stuck out was the silverware and ONE napkin. The silverware was so strong and sturdy that I could actually use it to cut through to the bottom of my chimichanga! In my experience most to-go silverware is weak and flimsy leading to the need for real silverware. And, the ONE napkin I got was the thickest paper napkin I have ever seen in my life! It lasted the whole meal through without a rip! Finally, the food! I will let the pictures and empty box speak for...

The Birria tacos are absolutely phenomenal, but the Barria pizza? It is head and shoulders above anything I’ve ever had inside Dallas, Oregon and I’ve lived here for 20 years. My kids love it as is, but it has way too much cheese for me so we get half with half the cheese and the other side normal like you would do a half-and-half pizza but I am telling you what there is not one piece left the next day. I enjoy the restaurant. I enjoy the banter with the employees both in person and online I like their stance and policies and their belief system, and I will be a customer for their entire stay in Dallas, Oregon, which I hope is for a really long time, but the turnover is such that I don’t know a lot of times. The best ones are gone within months and that’s sad.
