I am a downtown resident that goes out to eat a lot. This morning I had one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. Most employees either love working mornings or hate it and clearly this girl woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I walked in she had just finished up with another customer. She then walked in front of me and said so you know what you want? I said where are the danishes? She replies we don't have any in a very condescending voice, I said clearly. Mind you the was at 7:20am they open at 7. So she said do you want anything else? I replied ya give me a minute. She walked away, started talking to someone doing dishes while I looked. When she came back she asked so do you figure it out? I said yes could I get a sandwich, she asked which one I replied a croissant sandwich. And pointed to the board on the wall. She proceeded to get a premade ham and cheese bun out of the cooler asked if I wanted it heated. I thought I was getting a ham and cheese croissant with lettuce tomato and mayonnaise that's the one that I was asking for not this little bun it was a far cry from a croissant. She took took my money proceeded to hand me this bun and I told her you may want to change your attitude kind of under my breath and she turns around and says excuse me what did you say I said you really should change your attitude I don't have an attitude she says. Clearly she had an attitude and clearly I will not be returning for quite some time because this is not the first time it's happened there so if I was the owner of this establishment I would be having a conversation with their employees to find out why is it so difficult to be nice to customers when they're the ones that are paying your bills. Because without customers you...

We got the almond/berry tort, a cheese bagel with herb cream cheese (used to be my favorite). We also got the chocolate mouse and ham and Swiss croissant. In fairness, this was the end part of the day 4:28pm however, I dont think that made much difference.
Open and bright, it's a cute use of the space. Good location (as I'm sure they get a lot of court house buisness). Smaller menue than the corvallis location. No one in here but we had to wait a couple of minutes for someone to even come into the front. Tart was generic. Flat flavor with jam on top of jello cheesecake kind of filling. Ham and Swiss crossaisant was soft, no flake, not crispy at all and sweet taisting filling. Chocolate mouse was a disappointment but, better than most of the rest of what we tried. It's clear they use sub par ingredients now, the flavors are just super generic and flavorless...no depth. Ahhh the bagel and cream cheese....so sad that the bagel was like dense bread. To thick, dense and role like. Cream cheese (garlic and herb)..still good! Overall, It's not a recommendation from me but, we MITE try it again in a...
Read moreI stopped by on my way home. I was so excited to find a nice-looking bakery on Google Maps a few weeks ago. This is a cute lil place and everything looks delicious in the pics on GM. But unfortunately, the food was not as tasty as it looked and the prices were way too high. I purchased a breakfast burrito, a pie, a slice of pizza and 2 pastries to go. I never got a receipt, and once I drove off I realized that the cashier said “ok, have a good day” before I even finished on the checkout screen. I'm wondering, did she add a big tip when I walked away? Because when I checked my bank statement later that week, thebill seemed so high.
The muffins and pecan pastry were extremely dry and lacked flavor but had too much pecans(didn't think that would ever be something I would think). The burrito was blan and dry too. No sauce, cream or anything to give them flavor or make them not so dry. Not even salt and pepper. The pizza however was very tasty and had lots of toppings and was worth the price.
Not sure I'll ever be back and I can't honestly say I’ld recommend this bakery, unfortunately.
Sorry, I didn't think to take pics to share...
