Stay far away from this dump. One of the worst bar experiences I’ve ever had. My friend and I stood at the bar for 20 minutes (I looked at my phone to confirm), made multiple attempts to flag down a bartender…and we were quite literally never acknowledged. Not one time in 20 minutes. Inexcusable. The one time one of the bartenders finally turned towards me, she didn’t acknowledge me…instead I could see her eyes were rolled back in her head, she dropped cash on the floor from a customer, didn’t pick it up, moved in slow motion to a computer and attempted to input something, before slumping against the back wall behind the bar and proceeding to ignore all customers for the rest of my time there. Not only unacceptable, but legitimately scary. Whoever the hell this bar owner is hiring, they are the last people I want making my drink. Add to that the fact that the place was just generally dirty (bar was sticky, floor was sticky, trash left on the bartop, etc.), the DJ was WAY too loud for a place that small, they let a vagrant set up shop at the street-level entry door attempting to swindle patrons by asking for a nonexistent “entry fee” (the actual doorman up the stairs once you go in couldn’t have cared less about maintaining security)…and the horrible experience was complete. There are literally zero redeeming qualities about this place. Do yourself a favor and never go to this dump. With any luck, we’ll drive them out of business so they can be replaced with a bar that actually cares about being...
Read moreThey do a little too much at closing time. 15-20 minutes before closing, they play a song basically telling everyone to get out. Not even 2:00am and you have (management?), screaming in synchronization that everyone needs to leave as a “get out” song plays. Also found it incredibly disrespectful that a song was cut off in the middle (one multiple people was dancing too) in favor of a Garth Brook record and when I asked the DJ for the night why that was the case, he informed, in a matter of fact voice, that it’s because “it’s time to leave”. Mind you, we are still 15 minutes out from closing time at this point and I still have half of a beverage remaining.
While I can understand wanting to get out at a decent time, it feels like borderline harassment to yell at patrons (via a song) that they need to get out 20 minutes before the establishment is a even set to close, particularly when they have paid for menu items. It makes them feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and generally gives off bad vibes. I walked out of the bar in extreme embarrassment as they continued to sing “Get out”. By that point, if felt a tad personal and hostile…(and again, it was not yet...
Read moreIf I could’ve given 0 stars, I would have. The most rude bartender I’ve ever experienced in my life. She was so rude to multiple people on my check and had terrible customer service skills. I’ve never seen someone in a customer based industry act so rude before. In return, I didn’t tip her as I don’t feel people are entitled to tips - you earn your tip. Her great excuse was that they were “busy” which I forgot was a reason to be rude for no reason even though there might have been a total of 20 people. Sorry you can’t handle your own. She decides to confront me, cuss me out in the middle of the bar, and essentially kick me out of the bar for not tipping her. The best part, when I checked my bank statement she took the liberty of adding a $15 tip to my check. Completely fraudulent in every way possible. Even better, you can’t get a hold of the bar because they don’t have a number online and they don’t respond to their messages online. What an absolutely shady way of running business that’s all I’ve got to say. There’s a million other great places in Dallas that will treat you right and provide good...
