Been to this location all my life. Always was great service. Thought I'd stop by with the new ownership and see how it is. First visit was not as great as planned. Went in and paid and placed my order. Sat there waiting patiently for over 20 minutes. Owners both attended me and took my order. A family member of mine walks in and we start chatting. I walk outside for 3 minutes, come back in and went straight to the counter because I've been waiting long enough for a 1 topping small pizza. Tell the husband my name and hands me my pizza. I walk out after briefly mentioning that was my cousin that just came in for an order. I go to my car and next thing I know he runs out the front door asking me if I paid for my order. I said yes and told him the total and have the digital receipt via text. Asked him if he needed it. He said no that's OK I got you. By then I was already offended. I'm pretty easy to recognize and he greeted me when I first went in. There's no way he forgot who I was after 30 minutes. Probably won't be back. Mesquite location is not that much further from us now. Been going to that location and Live Oak since the 80s among other old locations. If Owners can't remember you within 30 minutes. Then there's something wrong there. And I'm pretty easy to recognize big guy with a scruffy beard and shades. Anyways, pizza was great like all pizza inns. But I'll probably just keep going further to Mesquite from now on. First visit back to Live Oak after new ownership didn't sit...

I order a THIN CRUST individual pizza. Thin crust is thin and crunchy. This crust wasn’t thin but it wasn’t thick and it definitely wasn’t CRUNCHY!!! I called and spoke with the manager BILL and was question as to why I waited a hour and a half to call to complain and that he couldn’t give me a refund. I wasn’t asking for a refund I just wanted my pizza prepared correctly. And since you asked I’m a nurse that works 16 hours straight every Saturday and Sunday and I placed my order at shift change for my nurse’s assistants so I had to make sure that my floor was covered before I could take the first bite (I’ve worked 8 hours without eating and that’s why I don’t want a refund, I WANT TO EAT LUNCH)!!! Sooo incredibly rude!!! I’ve NEVER spend over $100 again feeding my nurse’s assistants and staff with this establishment!!! And based upon the OWNERS response I can see why the customer service is shitty. They’re being led by a horrible example and yes THIS order was only $10 but my previous order was over $100 but Never Again. And it doesn’t matter how long it sat IT WASNT THIN CRUST!!! It was hand tossed thickness beat down or just plain flat but IT WASNT THIN CRUST!!! Next time I’ll read the reviews first because yours are horrible and none of your responses take any accountability it’s always the customers fault....

I went to this location today. The people who ran it seemed really nice. Although I had to order my pizza online I have to honestly say. That I did not particularly care for this location. It's not the people who ran it it's just the way they make their Pizza it's way too greasy. I typically go to the Snyder location in Snyder Texas and the pizza. There is much better not real greasy plenty of toppings the Alfredo sauce is really good and the toppings taste fresh. When I went to the location today I wanted alfredo sauce instead of the typical pizza sauce. The woman who is the manager did give me the Alfredo sauce for free. But she did inform me that if her dad had been working he would have charged me the extra 50 cents. The store in Snyder there's no upcharge if you want to change to Alfredo sauce. And the crust is always light airy and not too greasy. If you want to go to this location I encourage you to go but I would suggest you buy the buffet instead of a...

Update as of 2/12/25: Atmosphere is still two stars, but the service dropped some with new ownership. I go every Wednesday. I get the buffet pizza with a salad. The garden salad ingredients were pretty fresh, but some of the bins were empty (like boiled eggs and shredded cheese). The pizza is somewhere in between Campisi's (cracker crust) and true NY style pizza. Toppings are a little better looking and better tasting than before, but they are slow to keep a selection of pizzas available. Sometimes have to wait for fresh pizza to come out and then fight the swarm of hungry customers who also have been waiting. This is most likely due to having only one working oven. The price of buffet also went up a dollar. I would like to see more supreme and pan pizzas. Staff was nice. If they would paint the restaurant inside and out, replace the ceiling tiles, and update the furniture, the place would attract a lot more people. I'm not sure it's worth the trip to go back.

All was great until, the owner came up to me at the buffet bar and told me not to get anymore pizza if I was only gonna eat the toppings because by me doing so it was costing him money. I didn’t realize I was being watched, and in disbelief when he flat out told me that, I asked that he had to be kidding and he said fk no I’m not kidding I’m fkn serious. Then he said pay me my money and leave or I’ll call the police. 🤔 So the morale of the story is unless you dont mind being watched and told how to eat your pizza then I wouldn’t waste your time eating at this joint.
