Select Start — Restaurant in Dallas

I went in last night.... waited 20 minutes to get acknowledged while standing on the far side of the bar, while standing there, I was talking to the red headed female with the dallas skyline tattoo asking “ where do I order?” I guess she is deaf because she didn’t even acknowledge that I was standing there and I know I spoke loud enough. I waited another 10 minutes, decided to walk to the other side with the other 2 bartenders... waited 15 minutes... as I watched the guy bartender tend to 2 females right were I was standing 15 minutes ago... I made eye contact with the guy after he poured those ladies shots, he gave me the one minute finger and winked at me... so I’m standing there thinking I’m finally about to get service... NOPE.... He continued to take 2 more peoples orders. The other bartender was just standing there talking to him about random stuff while he was making one of those orders. I wave my arms like a crazy person cause I’m mad at this point... the red headed lady looked me right in the eyes, didn’t say “ one second ma’am, I’ll be right with you” or nothing... just kept walking.

Very disappointed, horrible service. You can’t tend bar with THREE bartenders when there was probably 35 people in that place, maybe 10 people trying to order, there’s a damn problem! I will never try this place again. Horrible horrible service or...

Probably the worst Barcade I've been to in Dallas. Me and a group of 3 walked in. We were never greeted. We were never offered a drink menu. It was not busy and was just a lazy Sunday afternoon,.

Half of the machines accept cash dollars only, the other half are quarters only. Some accept a swipe card that was never explained to us. All of them are EXTREMELY over priced. (LOL, 4 quarters for an ancient, barely working Mortal Kombat machine -- But hey, at least that one took quarters!)

Both times that I spoke to the bar tender he was absolutely RUDE and dismissive of us. He told me to get quaters for the machines. . . then when games said "Cash only", wouldn't give us dollars for our quarters for the cash only machines! I suppose we looked young so he thought we didn't have money to spend? Regardless we played a few games and just left with no drinks. It's not the sort of place I'd return to or want to spend money on. Oh and the bathroom was WOW levels of gross so I guess despite being slow, there was no time to clean it.

So yeah. Awful place. Unoriginal concept. I'd highly recommend Barcadia over this place, or even a Dave & Buster's. Go to a Barcade that understands young people have money to spend and deserve good customer service.

I had 2 bags checked in prior to 7 pm by a employee at the door from spending the night at someone's house earlier. Then two black guys (one manager and another regular employee told me I had to leave because I had 2 backpacks (already checkef by an select start employee) after I won over 30 matches in a row on psn while playing mortal kombat from 6pm-11 30pm. Up until this moment I had a phenomenal time and enjoyed myself, my review would have been more pleasant if I didn't have the 1 manager and employee both remove me from the premises due the the backpacks I already has checked prior to starting drinking like I did...also there was another guy whom was belligerent threating to kill me and others that the manager and his employee failed to subdue but they had enough time to unduly focus on me.

They dont realize their unscrupulous actions took my review from 5 starts to 1...
