I went in @ 11:15 on September 3rd in the morning and the barrista called April that was at the counter doesnât even say hi doesnât say anything until I started saying my order which was a pink drink with peach juice and cold foam and I waited until she finished writing it on the cup and after that she proceeded to tell me the balance for the drink and I told her Iâm adding another drink which I was confused bc usually other baristas ask me anything else? But after I told her I wanted an iced caramel macchiato upside down and started writing it on the cup and it looked like she was struggling but since I only wanted to add 2 pastries I tell her can i also add a cheese danish and whenever I finish telling her that she immediately claps back at me and tells me can u wait Iâm writing it down and i didnât say anything bc Iâm not a confrontational person at all but i look at the guest next to me and the lady just stares at the barrista and after that April doesnât even proceeds to tell me anything she turns her back and doesnât even tell me that my drinks and my food was going to be on the other side so I just walked away and the other barrista making the drinks handed them to me which she was so efficient and super nice. The drinks where perfect and i also did get my pastries but i didnât check my food items until I got home and my brother said hey this is not what i ordered i look at it and itâs a lemon loaf pastry which I asked for a cheese danish. I placed a simple order: two iced white mochas without whipped cream. I repeated my order twice to make sure it was clear. I also picked up a slice of cake. My total came to $16, and I handed the barista $20, telling her to keep the change. Her response was âwhatever,â accompanied by an eye roll.
I overheard her telling another staff member, âone with whip, one without,â so I politely clarified, âMaâam, both are without whipped cream.â She immediately cut me off with a dismissive tone and said, âI got the order, donât worry.â Her attitude was unnecessarily rude.
When I received my drinks, sure enough, one of them had whipped cream. I asked her to remake it, and she insisted, âThatâs what you ordered.â When I corrected her, she didnât apologize instead, she scooped the whipped cream off with a spoon, added more milk, handed it back to me, and went back to scrolling on her phone as if I didnât exist.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. Iâve never been treated so poorly at any Starbucks location. I hope management sees this and addresses the staffâs behavior, because it was...
   Read moreI stopped here on my way to school today and was absolutely appalled by the girl working the counter. I will say that my drink was fine, but the customer service was terrible! The girl barely spoke at all, literally only told me my total and asked if I wanted my receipt in an annoyed voice and had a very annoyed look on her face the entire time. It made me very uncomfortable to be there and it felt like I was very unwelcome. She made no moves to approach the register when I approached and very much acted like she didnât want to be there. When my drink was ready, she didnât say anything and just pushed it my way. I was honestly very relieved it was done quickly and could get out of there.
