An Unforgettable Experience at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton hotel, and I can't stop raving about the exceptional experience we had. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, and the outstanding service throughout our stay left us feeling pampered and valued.
First and foremost, the service at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need, ensuring that we felt comfortable and well taken care of at all times. From the friendly and warm welcome at check-in to the personalized attention throughout our stay, it was evident that the staff's dedication to hospitality was unparalleled.
Our room was an absolute haven of luxury and comfort. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, it exuded an inviting ambiance that instantly put us at ease. The plush bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to leave, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the room truly made it a home away from home.
The mini bar and fridge were stocked to the nines with a wide selection of beverages and snacks, making late-night cravings a delight. We enjoyed indulging in some treats after a day of exploration and relaxation by the pool.
Speaking of the pool, it was nothing short of amazing! The pristine pool area was an oasis of serenity, surrounded by lush greenery and attentive staff who ensured we had everything we needed for a perfect day of relaxation. It was so fun to unwind by the pool, soaking up the sun and taking refreshing dips in the crystal-clear water.
One of the highlights of our stay was the 24/7 room service. It's rare to find a hotel that offers such an extensive and high-quality menu around the clock. We were delighted to discover that even at 3 in the morning, we could enjoy a sumptuous and satisfying meal in the comfort of our room.
I cannot recommend The Ritz-Carlton hotel enough to anyone seeking an extraordinary stay. The level of service, the immaculate rooms, the well-stocked mini bar, and the incredible pool experience all came together to create an unforgettable visit. Our time at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait to return for another luxurious and indulgent escape.
If you're looking for a place where excellence meets unparalleled service, The Ritz-Carlton is the ultimate destination. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Highly, highly recommend.
Sincerely,
A Raving Fan of The...
Read moreI’m quite certain anyone rating this property five stars has never stayed at the Four Seasons, AMAN, or a true luxury brand. This seemed to be the best Dallas had to offer, and it missed the mark—terribly.
Days before our arrival, we attempted to reach the concierge (Raouf Drissi) to book airport transportation. The night before our flight, I finally received a response (more than 48 hours later) stating they needed to keep a credit card on file. Fine, no big deal. I called the hotel at 11:37 p.m. only to be told the concierge had left at 11 p.m. and that I needed to contact them again. The front desk did not offer any solution or to take the information. I emailed the card details to the concierge so it would be in their inbox when they returned at 7 a.m. No response. I emailed again before our flight—still no response. We ended up bearing the cost from the airport ourselves and didn’t hear back from the concierge until the next day, with a half-baked excuse saying they “were off” all day. Why does a five-star hotel not have an inbox management system?
Next, again with the concierge: a business colleague dropped off product samples for my testing and informed the concierge with my name and information. I was never notified, nor were the items ever brought to my room.
Regarding the rooms: half of the outlets didn’t work. All USB and micro-ports attached to the bed unit were completely dead. Thankfully, I had a long enough phone charger to run halfway across the room so I could charge my phone while sleeping. The room came with two 20 oz bottles of what appeared to be dollar-store water with a Ritz private branded label, even after I requested more water upon check-in.
We sat in the lobby waiting for our room until 3:38 p.m. and were told there wasn’t a single other room available in the hotel that we could pay for, as they were at capacity. Yet, when checking online, there were certainly options to book—further insult to injury when we had business meetings to attend. Perhaps this is a moot point since the guarantee is that rooms are available by 4 p.m., but I’ve been spoiled by real brands who actually know and care when a guest is arriving and accommodate accordingly.
Regardless of how you dress up a Mariott branded hotel whether it be the Ritz or the St Regis it still truly feels like a 3-4 star budget hotel experience that isn't demanding of...
Read moreThis stay was much better than our stay in 2019. We loved the restaurant and spa so much that we decided to give the hotel another chance this year, and we are glad that we did.
As we checked in, the front desk communicated any Covid restrictions, amenities, and what our booking package includes (club lounge access, what floor it's on, valet, spa credit). Everyone was so helpful and willing to help even with odd requests. There was one point where we poked out of our room to ask the Housekeeping representative that was performing turn-down service for more cocktails that came with our room. She said she didn't have any but came back 5 minutes later with some.
The meal at Fearing's was so amazing that I almost cried tears of joy. The service matched the experience of the meal. Our server saw that we were putting our masks on in between bites when folks came to our table, and he addressed that we didn't have to (but can if we're more comfortable that way) and wanted us to enjoy. We all found that we were all fully vaccinated in the room we were in, and that made is even more comfortable.
Room service was always prompt, professional, and had our order correct. The caliber of food was a lot better than we expected. It was also convenient to have access to the Club Lounge for when we only wanted a snack for lunch, and we were able to bring some of this upstairs to our room for when we didn't feel comfortable with the crowd.
The spa experience was great, despite the changes they had to make for Covid. Everyone that helped was so kind and genuine.
Upon checking out, we were told where credits applied to our bill. It wasn't until we got home that we remembered that we had a $50 spa credit per night for booking under the Dine & Unwind package and that this wasn't applied. We're unsure on how to go about discussing this.
Other than the last oversight and a bit of noise late at night that we could hear in our room, the stay...
