I brought my husband here last night for Fatherās Day to have a nice intimate dinner but that was far from my expectations. For starters letās talk about when you first step into the door expecting to be greeted by smiling, cheerful faces with a polished appearance. No!! we were greeted by young women that clearly are clueless about presentation when working in a so called ā Upscale ā establishment. The welcoming was dry with a dry personality that was giving ā Iām just here for a paycheck ā versus being there cause you enjoy your job. Then the young lady that seated us was very low speaking and inexperienced when it comes to engaging with customers . Once we were seated the couple next to us were kind enough to let us know that they were first seated there and moved themselves to the table over due to drops of water coming from the ceiling onto the dinner table. I guess from the ac unit. So my husband went to inform the young ladies up front about the situation and he returned alone saying ā move to the table right of us. ā I was taken aback by how no one came to access the issue along with an apology saying that the problem will be taken care of expeditiously being a high price point establishment. Now letās get to our table setting which was very poor and cheap in taste. I was expecting a more elegant setting where everything was placed accordingly. No Not At All !!! I told my husband the overall appearance of the restaurant was eye pleasing with the decor but could definitely use some work in some areas especially for the prices theyāre asking for. I have been to some very elegant restaurants that speaks $$$ from the moment you step into the door to be greeted on down to the required attire to enter the establishment. This restaurant was giving wanting to be upscale but overshadowed by Ratchet ( Definitely in need of a do over). It wasnāt what I was expecting to celebrate my husbandās day. Just looking around at everyone and their appearance it wasnāt matching the prices. Letās get to the foodā¦smh. For starters never have I ever paid $ 41 for one crab cake that wasnāt even lumps of crabmeat. Iāve had larger with better quality for less and well worth the money. Letās not talk about the two Lil Brgs for $ 28 that were so small for a play dollhouse meal. For that price they shouldāve been a lil bigger if youāre just going to serve two ( overly priced ).My husband ordered the oysters $ 58 that he said were alright but heās had way better oysters that were garnished and flavorful for that price. The lamb chops that my husband ordered looked like a lamb that was on a hunger strike as skimpy as they were for $ 69. There were more garnish on the plate than meat ( Totally Shocking ). His truffle fries were great but not for $ 19 ( Definitely Not ). I ordered the NY Strip $ 71 with truffle butter $ 13 , that came out warm like it had been sitting waiting to be served. Not to mention it wasnāt moist and juicy giving straight off the grill onto the plate. Even with the gentleman putting the torch onto the truffle butter to melt didnāt help. The asparagus I ordered $19 wasnāt nice and hot it also was warm and not firm at all. My lobster Mac n cheese $ 32 wasnāt fresh and hot nor was it nice and creamy where you can see the cheese cheesing and nice size pieces of lobster all the way through ( No ). Lastly letās talk about the two drinks I had that came to $ 44 that were served in a regular small size glass garnished with an orange which was rather tasty but definitely overpriced. My husband had the lemonade that was $5 which was okay. Overall for the price point of this establishment itās definitely not meeting up to the standards of an upscale restaurant. A bit of advice that has always been very true ā The people you first meet when entering the door is representation of your business and your brand. ā The quality , price point and presentation of your product is a major representation of your business and your brand.ā With that being said ā Your first impression is your last. ā and this is the first and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was our first time at STK Dallas. We went to celebrate Valentineās Day, and of course, it was pretty busy, as expected. We had a reservation for 9:45 p.m. and walked in right on time. The line to check in was extremely long. There were two people at the check-in area: a male who seemed to be the manager and a younger female. We got in the line where the male was, and when we walked up, he was extremely rude. He told us to go to the other line to check in with an attitude. There was no indication anywhere saying that one line was for check-in and the other wasnāt. Are we supposed to guess as customers? Then, following all the people after me, he did the same thing to them. I was extremely excited to try out this restaurant, and the first impression was that of a rude employee. It threw off the experience already. We were given a beeper and went to wait outside like everyone else, and I noticed other people speaking about how rude he was, so Iām glad I wasnāt the only one that noticed. When we went back inside to ask how much longer it would take because I had already waited about 45 minutes, I went back into the check-in line to ask the young lady, and the guy interjected and said another 10ā15 minutes again with an attitude. After that, he told everyone else that entered that the wait was 45ā1 hour. I did see that he checked in a few people, but no surprise, the people he checked in were white. Iām Hispanic, and Iām darker-skinned, but I noticed everyone he sent to the other line was black. When the beeper went off, we went up to the front and tried to hand it to him because he was grabbing everyone else's, and guess what? He just ignored it, but the lady who would be walking us up to our table grabbed it from us. At this point, I saw his name tag, and his name was āStevenā and, of course, he was the manager. I told the lady who walked us to the table that I didn't understand why he was so rude. She was very nice and said she was really sorry and that heās always very rude, especially to the staff. He's worse for the staff. She said heās most likely stressed because itās a busy day, but this is just how he is, and unfortunately, this is what they deal with daily. Itās sad to know these people work under toxic management. I told her that bad treatment of customers is unacceptable, especially at a high-caliber restaurant. As a US Army veteran, I can totally see this happening on a military installation, but at a restaurant where I spent over $350 on two steaks, I spent the same amount of money at Gekko in Miami and got treated amazing sitting next to celebrities and very wealthy people, but the food was way better anyways. The only thing I can say about the service is that our waiter was amazing; her name was Aryanna, I believe. The lady that took us to our table was nice as well. The steak was a little burnt in some areas, and tasted very overcooked on the outside. They never brought the wine to my table because the bar was busy, but that was okay. I wouldnāt have been able to complain to the manager anyway because speaking to him wouldāve made it worse with that attitude. I just canāt get over the fact that the manager of this facility is even a manager. The corporate office really knows how to choose them. Maybe checking the cameras would help them see this guy's actions. This is a high-class restaurant, not a McDonald's. I doubt that I will be going back to this place. I hope corporate doesnāt take...

Iām beyond disappointed in this establishment from start to finish. And Iām a really easy person to pleaseā¦
I came here to celebrate my birthday (Dallas location)
My spouse was excited about it because he found it on tiktok and it was a surprise to me (I didnāt know where we were going til we arrived )
We pull up to valet and we get out with our cake and ballonās the valet guy tell us āur not allowed to bring ballonāsā I said really ? Ok fine we left them in the car
They sat our party of 9 ppl and the table was dirty. The guy had to come out and wipe the table down.
We get our food my spouse is going in on his food it has a hair in it no problemš©(side eye)they get him another one.
It took a while so he said he will just take it to go. He asked the waiter to bring out the cake ( which he called before hand and asked about cake and the lady said we cuddled bring our on cake and they donāt have cake so we did) which was fine But this was the kicker the waiter ask me did I know about a the cake fee (she knew dang well we didnāt know) Of course I donāt she explained they charge $5 per person to cut the cake I said um no Iāll cut it my self and she said no if u cut the cake here itās $5 per person ( and if someone calls making inquiries about cake and u tell them they can bring their own cake u should have mentioned u have a cake fee)
What the fuzz are u talking about. That makes no sense if cutting my birthday cake is a huge inconvenience for u to charge I donāt want it bring my cake please we ready for the check.
This is the icing on the cake for me
After waiting for ever for the check I noticed they charged full price for my spouse meal the one with the hair. I spoke with the manager and he stated we charge for what he consumed but he didnāt get to eat his food with there, didnāt even offer anything not even an apology it was like he could care less.
The waiter got a $30 tip off every check at the table. When tbh we didnāt even receive the service that everyone talks about. Barely was there I finished my drink before my food no one ever came and asked if I wanted another or a regular drink nothing.
This place is way over priced for the type of service we got. It was like paying for a brand new Maybach with a Mitsubishi engine on the insideā¦
I felt our party was so dismissed no body came to check on us. We asked for the check letās say at 9 we didnāt get our bill til about 10 thatās how slow it was
For an establishment to charge $50 for a tablespoon of crabmeat I would expect the top of the line service from the staff. I had to ask for the cake that was never brought out from a different person to get itā¦
Ive honestly had better service at Texas Roadhouse. Iām just really pissed off because why didnāt we receive the service everyone is raving about in the reviews If someone is spending over $1000 dollars not including tip you should do better. This is so unacceptable.
Because at the end of the day what am I paying 1000 plus dollars for ? To be dismissed ? Excuses? He didnāt even apologize for the hair.š¤¦š¾āāļø The only good thing about the night was I got to be with family how my family was treated I donāt like at all. Iām so mad I wish my spouse wud have read these reviews then the ones on tiktok. Cuz I feel like I was at a completely...
