I got the Grande burrito and it was good...I ordered a Mexican corn but never got it...I wasn't charged for it either which is fine because the burrito filled me up...I ended up taking half home with me. My husband ordered the fajita taco and was expecting more then just one taco so at $4.50 a taco he wasn't impressed at all...my burrito was only $2.00 more and It was big enough to feed two people so I don't get the logic behind charging that kind of money per taco. We also had the guacamole and chips as a starter and it lit me on fire! I've never had guac dip where they put an abundance of a hot pepper in the dip...it would have been nice if the bartender made us aware of that. I had a couple of the Sunday special $3.50 bloody Mary's drinks which were really good. Over all the experience was fine....nothing to write home about...would we go back...Naaa...there's just as good Mexican food and better out there at a more reasonable price. The atmosphere was hip and the service was good.

They tried to do the Tex-mex thing minus the Mex. There are about 3 Spanish words on their menu, and it's a clear sign of what you'll be getting. If you want a street taco that somehow has been influenced by New York, this is your place. The tacos were dry and bland, and cold as if the meat was in the fridge. We ordered queso, which tasted much like Ricos nacho sauce with some cheese and lettuce sprinkled on top. We dumped the tiny cup of Diablo sauce into it to liven it up a little, but it's still nacho sauce, not queso. Friends have recommended this place for years, and I'm not sure why. This is by far the worst street tacos I've ever had, though to be fair, they don't necessarily state they are street tacos on the menu. They're also more expensive than most authentic restaurants, I will not voluntarily return to this place.

The tacos here have always been fantastic, but what truly makes this place special is the incredible people who work here. Recently, I lost my wallet at a nearby mall, filled with all my important items, and I assumed it was gone for good. But thankfully, Claudia (pictured here) found it. Since she couldn't bring it to me herself, she entrusted it to Carlos, the manager, who personally came to my home to return it. A heartfelt thank you to both Claudia and Carlos. Their integrity and sense of community remind me that these values are the foundation of a fulfilling and successful life. To everyone in our community, if you stop by this location, please show some love to Claudia and Carlos—and remember to leave a generous tip ;)!

Verily, let me recount the culinary marvel that is Torchy's Tacos in fair Dallas, Texas. With each morsel of their delectable offerings, I was transported to a realm of gastronomic delight fit for nobility.

Upon entering this esteemed establishment, I was greeted by a most courteous staff, clad in attire befitting a royal court. Their service, akin to that of gallant knights, was swift and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met with utmost care.

As I partook of their wares, my taste buds were enraptured by the symphony of flavors that danced upon my palate. The tacos, crafted with the finest ingredients known to man, were a testament to the culinary prowess of Torchy's artisans. Whether it be the succulent carnitas or the savory barbacoa, each bite was a revelation, a culinary adventure fit for the most discerning of palates.

Furthermore, the ambiance of Torchy's Tacos was nothing short of enchanting. The rustic charm of the establishment, adorned with tasteful decor reminiscent of times long past, provided a cozy retreat from the hustle and bustle of modernity. It was as if I had stepped into a tavern straight out of a tale spun by bards of old.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Torchy's Tacos in Dallas, Texas highly enough. To dine at this establishment is to experience a gastronomic journey unlike any other, a veritable feast fit for kings and queens alike. Five stars do not suffice to capture the excellence of Torchy's Tacos—it is a culinary gem that shines brightly amidst the vast expanse of the...

I ordered several tacos and brought the food up to my wife's job for a rare lunch together. Half way through my brushfire I bite down on something hard. I spit it out and a shard of rather sharp plastic/ or glass came out. I called the manager and he vociferously denied the incident even happened. Really? He had the audacity to be aggravated with ME over the situation. The only reason he even decided to address the issue was because I expressed that I wasn't attempting to sue anyone over it. I told him he could have ALL the food back that I ordered to include the half eaten death taco. He rudely asked me what I wanted him to do about it. I told him that I just wanted my money back. I have pictures of the object and I will be contacting corporate about this. This shard could've created an extremely serious medical problem. So, the reaction of this manager is absolutely unacceptable. You're just lucky I'm not one of those sue happy people. NO MORE torchys for me or my...
