So after Stalking this place on Facebook for a year I FINALLY got out of my bubble and tried them....The Sea Salt Mocha did not disappoint. It was pretty nostalgic, I felt like I was stepping into my grandma's kitchen eating a piece of fresh chilled flan with homemade caramel sauce with a little cafecito on the side. To my surprise the mocha was not overbearing at all which makes it so great. Since a girl can never make up her mind I had to try a few others.....Banana Pudding is on point none of that fake banana flavoring stuff....This is the real deal, fresh bananas and I mean fresh bananas when I say fresh bananas, not the kind you forget about that people tell you to make banana bread with....those belong in the trash not in baked goods...They got this one right with the taste of perfectly ripened bananas! Oh & let's not Foget the test kitchen "The Millional" 🤭🤭I mean "Bae" same thing, right? I really enjoyed this one it was not overpowering with flavor or sugar....The orange zest and cinnamon pecans? were amazing But I may be bias because I am a little nutty! I love how light it was yet you can distinctly taste the flavor. So Don't be basic order you something different or you can be like everyone else and order the Turtle. Either way you won't be disappointed especially when Will deliveres exceptional customer service but it helps that I was an exceptional custmer🤣😉I'm no food critic but go get you some cheescake, stat...
Read moremy boyfriend & i took a cheesecake making class with Val to celebrate our 2 year anniversary & we had such a beautiful experience! the class was such a fun + engaging experience, Val’s bubbly personality & storytelling really allowed us to get to know his personal life & also understand the origin & sentimental value of how the business came to be along with the importance of honoring his mom’s legacy. we danced, we laughed, we played games & won prizes, we told facts about ourselves & learned a few fun things about everyone in class. i loved that all cakes made in class would be donated to woman & children in need & at the end of it all, each individual got to take home a 7-inch cheesecake that was hand topped by Val himself. there was also a complimentary charcuterie snack board provided to us as well as sangria + mimosas for us to sip on & Val insisted on keeping the refills going. thank you Val & his lovely team for having us & for hosting such an immersive cheesecake experience! parking can be a little tight as it is street parking, i recommend to park along the curb right in front of the shop or along the street at the intersection of griffin & akard right next to the Lorenzo hotel. there is a small parking lot to the left side of the shop but you can NOT park there as they will tow! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable...
Read moreI was so excited to try this place, and had really high hopes. My mom ordered the Bae Bae, then later they said they were out of whipped cream, which wasn’t a big deal. I was really looking forward to trying the banana pudding, but they were out of bananas. The other one I wanted to try, Nutella, wasn’t available. So, I asked for the most popular one which was the strawberry. I was so excited that I dug in as soon as I got my order to my car. We were a little surprised when we opened the bag and saw how small these 8 dollar slices were. Then, when I tried to get a piece with my fork, it was hard to slice through. Once I tasted it, I realized why. It was still partially frozen like it was recently pulled out of the freezer. The staff was friendly, and the cheesecake wasn’t bad once it warmed up a bit. I fully intend to give this business another chance. I think we could have just come at a bad time. Or maybe we should go to the shop instead of the...
