Bae introduced me to this place & he told he how great the pizza was. So we decided to take a visit this night. If ur not paying attention, u could easily miss the place it's like "sandwiched" between 2 businesses. All I initially saw was the fruit bar to the left, but that's my observation. I realized I had to use the bathroom, but there was no toilet paper & the smell of BLEACH was soooo overwhelming. O.M.G.🤢 The floor was wet & slippery it was like an accident waiting to happen Took a few points off for the atmosphere for that. Other than that, the cashier guy was nice. I wasn't sure what to get & the cashier wasn't giving us any suggestions, so we just got what we normally got. We normally get beef & mushrooms all over the pizza. Bae gets pepperoni (which tastes like nothing but SALT to me) on his side. I get grilled chicken on my side But there were a LOT of pizza variations & it honestly was difficult to choose. Bae wanted some lemon pepper wings, so we ordered that as well with a side of ranch (my personal favorite) & blue cheese for him. When we finally got out order I was surprised at wat we actually got: we ordered a MEDIUM pizza, but it appeared quite SMALL 😕 I mentioned that maybe we should have gotten 2🤣 Once I tried the pizza, I realized it WAS as good as he said it was! It was so savory & delicious! The pizza was fantastic; the chicken breast was tender, flavorful & not overcooked & dry, nor was it raw & undercooked. The pizza was well seasoned, but the crust was a little bland & that's where the ranch dipping sauce came in 😆 I wouldn't mind trying their other varieties after trying the pizza-I loved it!😃 As for the wings, they looked a bit dry & they were also very tiny.👀 & surprise, they actually WERE dry & tiny, but they didn't skimp out on seasonings. It reminds me of Wing stop by how they "load up" the wings with seasonings. I'm not complaining so much about the seasoning mind u. I was disappointed at the SIZE of the wings & the fact that they were dry, dehydrated & kinda hard. They weren't moist or tender like Wing stop. I gotta be honest I did comment to Bae that we should have got Wing stop instead of these because this was a waste of money. The ranch dressing, on the other hand, was AMAZING. I don't know if it was in-house made, but it was savory, creamy, rich, but not overly salty. Get the ranch! I could dip anything in that sauce😆 particularly in my case, the pizza CRUST After eating the baby chicken wings, I had a good amount of ranch dressing left. I thought it would have been a waste, but I realized I could dip the flavorless pizza crust ENDS n2 the ranch dressing & that was great thinking on my part Please give it a try- u will love it! I asked Bae what he thought & he said he loved everything, so that's that on that I took a couple of pictures so u could better visualize everything. Overall, my experience at Zio Al's pizza was great, but I don't recommend the wings...
Read moreThis was our first visit to this establishment, and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing due to the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of one staff member. Upon entering, we were not greeted or assisted. A young man with a mustache and curly hair stood behind the counter on the phone and ignored us, despite clearly seeing we needed help. We proceeded to place our dine-in order at the kiosk at 6:16 PM. Over the next 30 minutes, we observed several customers picking up their orders, while the same employee continued to display unacceptable behavior, including arguing with other guests. At 6:50 PM, we approached the counter to ask about our order. When I politely inquired if it typically takes this (almost an hour) long for dine-in orders, his immediate response was, “You’re a liar, it hasn’t been an hour”… (take in mind, I said almost.) His tone was aggressive and combative. When I asked for his name, he refused. I then requested to speak with a supervisor, and he outright declined, stating he would not get one. His hostility continued in front of other guests, many of whom expressed shock at his behavior. When our order was finally ready, he carelessly tossed the food into a bag, placed it far from the counter, and told us, “Take your order and leave now.” Nearby customers witnessed the incident and even suggested we not eat the food, raising valid concerns about its handling. This experience was unacceptable! The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism from this staff member was alarming, and based on this interaction alone, we will not be returning. I CANNOT, in good conscience, recommend this location...
Read moreOn 09/22/2023 we went to Zio Al’s to get some wings. While ordering food, my boyfriend set his phone on the counter and handed Safwat the cash for our food. After handing Safwat our cash we moved to the side to wait for our food. We got our food and went to the car but realized My boyfriend forgot his phone on the counter. We went back in on three different occasions asking if they saw his phone on the counter and Safwat (Order Taker) repeatedly told us that he hadn’t seen our phone. Mind you me and my boyfriend went inside different times to ask him. We were able to track his phone and saw the live location was still at Zio’s Al’s and we knew they had the phone! It took for my boyfriend to start to get loud with them for Safwat to grab his phone behind the counter. HE KNEW HE HAD IT THIS WHOLE TIME BUT DIDNT SAY ANYTHING! they are thieves!!!!!!!!! I do not recommend, specifically this location! It was an African American tall chuby guy who got all up in my boyfriend face and was using FOUL language. I would like to be contacted about this immediately and would like this to be resolved. You don’t treat people like this! Both of these employees should not have a job after what...
