Went in last Sunday to grab a couple things quickly. It was 6:45 and there were 2 older women working, there were a few other customers shopping, and after being in there for 2 or 3 minutes they started yelling that they were closed and to come pay for our stuff. It was 6:48 so I tried to hurry and a find the things I needed when one of the employees came up behind me and said “excuse me, we’re closed”. I said “but you close at 7 on Sunday’s” and she replied “no, we close at 6:48”. I headed to the register and tried to pick out just one more item I needed while she repeated to me and the other customers that they were now closed and we needed to leave. Customers were outside trying to come in but they had locked the doors shortly after I had entered. I paid for my things (only 3 items because I was rushed to checkout) and they followed me to the door to unlock it and make sure nobody else came in before they locked it again. I’ve never had this happen to me before anywhere. They were extremely rude, pushy, and acted as if we were all an inconvenience to them! Horrible customer service and management. I left upset and...
Read moreMy experience today was extremely disappointing due to the racism I witnessed. While waiting in the checkout line, I noticed the cashier treating customers very differently. An African American woman ahead of me was met with a frown, given no greeting, not offered a bag, and was simply handed her receipt without a word.
When it was my turn, the cashier—who had just been unfriendly toward her—suddenly greeted me warmly, offered me a bag, and thanked me as I left. The contrast in treatment was blatant and disturbing.
It is unacceptable to see this type of behavior, especially now. Regardless of race, background, or language, every customer deserves respect. I will be reaching out to the store because this kind of discrimination should never be tolerated. Maybe I should contact ICE to make sure she is...
Read moreI went in there I get my son balloons every month I increase the amount of balloons as he gets a month older, they increase the price, the lady blowing them up told me that beginning TOMORROW price of balloons goes up to $1.50 the other lady says no, beginning today, and charges me 12 balloons at that price, I called the next day to explain to the manager, she tells me the rude employee who charged me $1.5 (because she was rude to begin with) was right. So you lose a customer over $6? I explain to her I have my sons birthday party coming and I was planning to purchase my balloons there, she said the helium is more expensive now so that’s why they went up, she also didn’t seem to speak English properly.
