Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Danville

Some of the staff here are incredibly rude. The staff member at the counter was talking to her friends across the counter (who didn’t work there) and ignored my sister and I. Another person was putting more ice cream out. We were the only people inside the store. We waited about 10 minutes and didn’t think anything of it until we politely said we were ready to order. The girl putting out ice cream pretended she didn’t didn’t hear us (we were literally right across from her), and walked to the back. The girl talking to her friends rolled her eyes and said she’d be there in a minute and continued to talk to her friends. It was about another 5 minutes, so it was pretty awkward just standing there. Whenever the girl stopped talking and finally helped us, she had an attitude the entire time. We said thank you, and started to walk toward the door. More people came in and the same girl happily greeted the group coming in. Her attitude sort of flipped. I’m not sure what my sister and I did other than walk in the door, so it was weird. The Hours of Operations on your window says something completely different. I brought 4 children to your store tonight and your employees locked the door at 9:15 pm as we are getting out of the car. There was a line at your drive thru. We knocked on the window and was ignored several times. Finally a young lady comes to the door to tell us that they closed at 9. Even though your hours of operation on your window says 10 pm & also 10:30 pm 7 days a week. As Im sitting here writing this, my children are crying & upset because they wanted Baskin Robbins. Then as we sit here we watch 3 other families come here only to knock on the door & be told they are closed. If your closing at 9pm that’s fine but you should change the times you have in your windows! You have it in 3 different places that you close at 10 & 10:30pm!!! Love Baskin-Robbins, who wouldn’t? As a child it was so exciting to go here for a treat every once in a while. Now as an adult, I’m reliving my childhood more often by taking my daughter. I don’t know how it is that their ice cream doesn’t seem to irritate people who have dairy digestion issues. It was a wonderful surprise. If I had any wishes, I’d love to see a Baskin-Robbins location opened up around the by-pass in Danville or even nearby cities. It’s only a convenient location for Centre College Students or those living/working downtown. It’s out of the way for the general public to access. My 5th star was only withheld for this reason.
