To Start place is only known for its name now sadly... Music/atmosphere is horrible and way to loud for a place that's empty most of the time. Went couple times when they first opened, Had bad fish twice in my sushi roll like something died not over exaggerating.... Its been several months, figured I live within .25 mile down the road so why not give it another shot, So today went for a late 2nd Birthday dinner ...... Sadly again very disappointing miso soup tasted like it came from a packet, Shrimp Shumai tasted pre frozen and processed... not Fresh was basically straight dumpling hardly any filling brought what was left to my dog don't like to waste food and pretty sure it was microwaved center was barely warm when served, and the sauce is basically mayonnaise (Ponzu is the way) ..... Steak Tataki was underwhelming, had no flavor and was really fatty had to spit it out asked for the check and left wasn't worth the risk on the Sushi again....... I RECOMMEND saving your Money and go to Ushio Sushi across the street or Phat Boy, But if you want amazing food and nice drink menu take your Business to Cilantro off Hiatus and 84 Amazing!!! top 5 Sushi places I've been to and they have only been open for half the time. Read moreLove the food, but I had to pay for their mistake. I ordered a Hamachi Jalapeño and got something called Hamachi Tacadito or Tiradito (I can’t find this dish on their menu, so I don’t know where it came from). I let the server know it was wrong and the plate was left untouched on the table while I waited for resolution. The manager came and started taking the plate away while saying something in Spanish. I replied in english (can’t speak, but can understand some), but he kept talking in Spanish. He then put the plate back in the table and said he’d bring the right dish. I understood this action as “you can keep this wrong order on us while I get the right one for you”. We kept it, ate it and he then brought the right Hamachi. When the bill came, the wrong order was charged. Unfortunately for me I don’t like conflicts+needed to go somewhere else, but I am sad to say I won’t be coming back. Service and food was good, but this just doesn’t make sense. I am definitely at fault for assuming they took responsibility for the wrong order and should’ve asked when manager put plate back on the table. I’d also prefer to have been talked to in English. I’m not sure if they heard me speak portuguese (my language) and thought it was Spanish, but not only it isnt, they can be quite different. I was answering back in English, making it clear I don’t speak...
