Gosh I hadn’t been here the entire pandemic. Pre pandemic we loved to sit here and relax, happy hour felt like forever and we would enjoy cheap appetisers feeling like we were in no hurry to move along! - being back inside really gave me a big moment of wishing for that kind of normalcy! They have Super tasty pizza! Love the Italian sausage and on this occasion cute heart shape! - it was valentines We love their spicy garlic twists - these replaced the breadsticks as our favorite appetiser on the happy hour pre Covid! If you're looking for a flavour kick I highly recommend them! Oh and they have spicy ranch now! I feel like I don't remember that being a thing before! - Loved it! My only thing here is I definitely have had a few things come a little bit toooo well done (: but nothing that has ever put me off coming back

Anytime I’m in Davis or South Sac, I have to stop by my favorite Pizza joint, “Steve’s Pizza.” My order is always a half “Club”, half “Steve” (combo), twists with cheese, onion and jalapeños (spicy mayo on the side)....and lastly...the Classic Cheeseburger! It’s way too much food for my wife and I but the doggie bag comes in handy later in the day when it almost seems like it taste even better! 😂 I like Steve’s because their pizza crust is so airy and the toppings are plentiful (as you can see in the picture). Honestly, the burger is really good! If you feel like pizza, order the Classic Cheeseburger on the side and split it in 2 or 4s. You’ll be pleasantly surprised! The twists have a nice kick with the jalapeño and red onions...makes for a great side with the pizza!

Came for lunch just after the main rush. Place was clean and homey. Very pleasant and welcoming arrangement with plenty of tables and seating arrangements for all types of parties. Ordered a lunch special with a salad bar trip, drink, and pizza. Fairly priced at $11. Salad bar was very well stocked and very clean. Things were fresh and tasted great. The soda fountain has a seemingly endless combination of soda options. Pizza came out very quickly. Crispy crust, and good cheese and toppings. Flavor was good. Staff was friendly and welcoming and even with all the TVs on showing a bunch if different events, the noise level the restaurant was perfect. Will absolutely be returning

OK so I live just 10 minutes drive from Original Steve's in downtown Davis. And thought it a great idea to order for delivery for my 5 year olds birthday party. Now if you are like me, you know having no food at a kids birthday is close to the most stressful situation you can ever find yourself in! Even more so when you have 20 of them and another 15 parents in your house!

So after ordering 4 large pizza's to be delivered (not a complicated or huge order) I was told they would be 50 -60 minutes. I sat back confident Steve's would deliver me the perfect party. However when 60 then 75 minutes had passed both my wife and I became concerned. We phoned and were told 'yeah the drivers left, 10 minutes max' Another 15 minutes passed I phoned and spoke to the manager "Yes the driver left 10 minutes ago should be with you anytime" Nothing! Then my sister -in- law called "He should be coming down your road now" Nothing - The order took ONE HOUR AND FORTY minutes to get to us when we were told maximum one hour when ordering and after chasing twice were told the driver was 5-10 minutes away. Eventually when he did turn up he told us the Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match had backed up orders. In a nutshell the Pizzas are good but I don;t like being lied to. I could have picked them up myself if someone had told me there was going to be a 45 minute delay. Why was NO-ONE honest enough to tell us why the order was late, or when to expect delivery! We weren't even offered a comp order - we had to ask for it! So instead of kids going home with a piece of cake - they went home with a piece of Steve's...

I've been going to Steve's since I was a teenager...circa mid-late nineties. When this place was run by the owner, Steve, the quality was great. Over the years it has continually declined in quality. Tonight my breadsticks were like eating dry cardboard, no flavor, no cheese and overcooked. Steve's cheesy breadsticks used to be absolutely delicious. Now they are garbage almost every time I get them, but I keep going back just hoping to get a good batch and a bit of nostalgia. The staff seems to be very poorly trained and it shows with the massive inconsistency in the food. Every once in a while I will be blessed with a good pizza and breadsticks, but seemingly almost every visit the quality is lacking. I have stood and watched pizza's back up in the oven because employees are just standing around looking confused which creates a domino effect as everything in the oven gets overcooked. The quantity of toppings and cheese is hit or miss as well. The prices have gotten extremely high, which I understand due to inflation and supply chain issues. I realize it's not 1995 anymore when breadsticks were $2.99, but to pay $12.99 and get something of such poor quality is greatly disappointing. It is sad to see a Davis staple putting out such a poor...

I've been going to Steve's for 5+ years & sadly the quality has dramatically decreased in the last 3. Not even going to go into the bad customer service I've experienced in that time, and just focus on the miserable meal I was served last night.

Ordered medium thin crust pepperoni, same as every other time. Was told to pick it up in 30 minutes...when I picked it up (and tipped heavily mind you) I didn't notice the bottom of the box was ice cold. When I got home, the pizza looked like it had been sitting out for HOURS before they sliced it. I cannot believe the manager himself looked me dead in the eye as he was handing me what he KNEW was a substandard meal for which I paid $25. In all honesty, Little Ceasers is vastly superior to this Steve's location for food quality and general customer service.

If you're in Davis, I recommend avoiding this place as its really gone down hill. Fortunately the Woodland location for Steve's has better customer service and doesn't serve their longtime customer's food that belongs in the dumpster instead of on their plates. After getting bad experiences 4x at this location, my fiancé and I will never return again. Ever.

Customer Service 2/5 Food Quality: 1/5 Interior: 1/5 (dark,...
